My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially the food. It's a small diner, which gives it a cozy feel. The food is amazing, and they serve the best impossible burger I've ever had. The order of fries is generous, easily enough for two people. This is my favorite burger spot in the city. It's even better knowing the owner is usually here, making you feel like you're supporting a small business.

My experience at this restaurant was absolutely incredible! The food is truly outstanding. We had one of the best burgers we've ever tasted, and the mac & cheese with spare rib is so good it deserves to be a nationwide phenomenon. This place truly punches way above its weight. The location is small and unassuming with an outdoor seating deck, giving it a charming, modest feel. But the food and service are what truly shine. We LOVED our waiter; he was relaxed, funny, informative, classy, and an excellent salesman for all the dishes, and he was spot on with his recommendations. He kept us laughing all night long. We're already planning a return trip, even though we live over 45 minutes away and came in specifically to dine here.

I really liked this place; the food was absolutely amazing. We sat outside, which was great on a nice day. We had a cheeseburger and the mac & cheese, and they were both absolutely incredible. The food is phenomenal. Our waiter, Eric, was top-notch, providing excellent customer service. I really can't recommend this place enough.

I visited for a mid-week lunch and had the pulled-pork sandwich and the goat cheese risotto cakes. Both dishes were excellent, but I was especially surprised by the risotto cakes, as they were a cut above your normal diner fare. I will definitely come again.

I’ve been here twice for brunch and it was so good both times! I enjoyed delicious breakfast staples like pancakes, sausage, and hash browns. The staff is so kind and attentive. It's also very affordable. I had a great experience both visits.

Our lunch experience at this restaurant was fantastic! We shared the green chili mac and cheese and the salmon entree, while our kids enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich and the bacon beef burger with fries. Everything was ALL delicious. Our picky eaters ate heartily, and the mac and cheese and salmon were prepared perfectly. The French fries were incredible! Our server was also a highlight; they were SO KIND, INCREDIBLY PERSONABLE, SWEET and EFFICIENT. We highly recommend this family-oriented hideaway in the Balboa neighborhood!
