Hidden Gem with Stunning Views
My experience at Cypress Grill was truly wonderful. Tucked inside Harding Park’s golf course, it offers stunning views of the serene Lake Merced, with majestic cypress trees and the calm shimmer of the lake creating a peaceful dining experience. The breakfast portions were generous, the pricing was fair, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient.
It's a rare find for a quiet spot to unwind with good food and great service. Afterward, I enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the nearby path, which was truly relaxing and felt magical. This place has quickly become one of my new favorite hidden gems.

Nice Lake Views, Okay Grab-and-Go
We stopped here for lunch after walking around Lake Merced. We had our dog and sat at the outdoor seating. The waitress seemed ambivalent about serving us, so we just ordered from the grab and go window.
The prepackaged sandwiches and wraps were fine. We enjoyed the nice lake views and were lucky to catch the dragon boat racing, which was a nice bonus.

Consistently Good Food and Service
We sat in the bar because all the window seats on the golf course were taken. The bar area was very nice and private, and the service was very good. The food is consistently very good, but not over the top.

Food Quality Decline Disappointing
I've been eating here for a while, but lately, the food quality has noticeably gone down. My friend had the corned beef, and I tried the meatball; both were dry and almost tasteless. I'm not sure what's happening, but I'm a bit disappointed.
I hope this feedback helps them to improve.

Great Hot Dog, Okay Bloody Mary
After a 4. 8-mile lap around Lake Merced, we stopped at Cypress Grill for a quick snack and drink. I was craving a good Bloody Mary, but unfortunately, it was just okay, not very well balanced and missing something extra to make it memorable.
My search for a Bloody Mary that rivals The Ramp's continues. On the snack front, we tried the hot dog from the outside window, which was a great sign with its rotisseries. We were right, the hot dog here ROCKS!
Cooked to perfection as it sizzled on the spit, and the bun was also great – soft but not soggy.

Fluffy Pancakes and Great Views!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! They offer amazing choices for both breakfast and lunch. The pancakes were especially fluffy and delicious in ways I haven’t seen replicated elsewhere.
The views are also nice. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Relaxing Breakfast with Great Views
I visited this restaurant on a weekday morning and found it wasn't too crowded. Upon arrival, I was greeted promptly and allowed to choose any seat. I opted for a table by the window with a lovely view of the lake.
A friendly server quickly took my order for the presidential breakfast. The meal was delicious and very generous in portion size; I had leftover pancake and bacon for days! This is a great place for a relaxing breakfast, offering good service and great views.
The parking situation was also convenient, with plenty of spaces in the large lot, and the price was reasonable.

Pleasant View, Average Food & Service
My experience at the restaurant offered a very pleasant view overlooking the 18th hole at Harding and Lake Merced. While the food was okay, but not great, and the service was slow, but good, the atmosphere was a definite highlight.

Great Views, Okay Food, Good Service
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. While the views from our table of the golfers finishing their rounds were absolutely fantastic, and the service was good, the food itself was just okay. Unfortunately, the food did not match the atmosphere, which was a bit of a letdown.
