My experience at the restaurant was absolutely incredible, primarily due to the five spice chicken and garlic noodles. I honestly believe it's the best thing on the planet and I would happily eat it every single day of my life if I could. The food itself received a perfect score of 5, and the service was also very good at a 4. The atmosphere was rated a 3. We were a group of 2 people and experienced no wait time.

My experience at this restaurant was phenomenal! I've ordered twice via DoorDash, once for pickup and once for delivery. The delivery order arrived on time with no complaints. The food portions are large, enough to split one garlic noodle plate for two! My pickup experience was also very smooth. This location is clearly geared towards delivery orders as they are very popular, so showing kindness and graciousness to the staff is appreciated. They were extremely kind and considerate while I waited for my order. If you give kindness, it's much easier to receive it! I wish them continued success and hope they can optimize their flow to cater to their clientele, perhaps by implementing reservations and hiring more servers for dine-in guests. It's easily a favorite of mine in the Bay!

My experience at this Vietnamese place was okay. The atmosphere was no frills, but the portions were large and the food was decent. However, it took a long time to be served, and it was more expensive than I expected for a place of this caliber.

My experience at Perilla in Lower Haight was primarily focused on takeout, as they offer minimal seating. The service was incredibly quick and efficient, running like a well-oiled machine. I consistently order the garlic noodles with pork, and I'm always impressed by the huge protein portion. It's a reliable spot for a satisfying meal, especially if you're looking for a generous serving of their signature dish.

My experience at this restaurant has been consistently excellent, making it my go-to pho spot. The beef bone broth is truly the best in the entire Bay Area, so pure that it turns to gelatin when refrigerated. While the atmosphere is lackluster, the food more than compensates for it. My only minor complaint is the quality of the chopsticks; I recommend bringing your own.

My experience at this restaurant was very poor due to the rudeness of the employees. One employee behaved rudely with customers and dashers, even denying restroom use during an emergency. This resulted in not good service.

My experience at this restaurant was overwhelmingly negative, primarily due to the terrible food. The Perillas tasted like old noodles, were a little burnt in a bad way, and lacked flavor. The 5 spice chicken Pho was also of low quality, with a broth that seemed uncared for and was essentially non-existent in flavor, tasting more like a soup starter base than homemade. While the chicken and rice noodles were okay, they were nowhere near comparable to what you'd find at Bac Lieu. I tried it, and I wouldn't go back, especially not for takeout. There are much better options out there.

Sigh. I eat from here a bunch as it is right by my house, and generally call in a pickup order. I made the unfortunate decision tonight to veer away from my normal orders and also ate in house. I got the Curry Chicken Garlic Noodles, which are apparently a completely different format from all the other garlic noodle dishes. The noodles were in a curry sauce, completely obfuscating the normal garlic and butter flavors. Additionally, the chicken in this dish was in huge chunks that didn't have a kiss of the grill. Overall, the dish was gigantic but really monotonous and bland mushy noodles. From the dine-in perspective, the amount of couriers mobbing the place makes it chaotic to both order and even sit. I know this is a problem with gig delivery in general, but they need to wrangle it into the corner better and probably adjust their fire times in the system. I will definitely be back and hopefully will upgrade this to three stars when I get my normal 5 Spice Chicken Garlic Noodle order in house.

My experience at this restaurant was centered around their delicious pho and garlic noodles. There was no music or discernible atmosphere, leaving it feeling like a large, empty space with tables.
