My experience at the restaurant was good. I had no complaints about the sushi, it was delicious! However, the gyoza could use a bit more punch in flavor. Overall, a positive dining experience.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It was more affordable than I'm used to for the Bay Area. The sushi was super high quality and absolutely DELICIOUS. I especially enjoyed the chef's choice omakase! As a side bonus, the bathroom is super clean LOL.

My recent experience at Amami was a pleasant surprise. The sashimi was the absolute standout, incredibly fresh with thick, melt-in-your-mouth slices. While one of the dinner combos was pretty solid, it's truly the sashimi that makes this place worth returning for. Some of the newer or cooked dishes were just okay, but nothing was disappointing. The service was friendly, and the vibe is laid-back and casual. I'm definitely coming back for more sashimi!
