Anniversary Disappointment: Music and Menu Issues
My partner and I visited for our anniversary, but unfortunately, several aspects of our experience were disappointing. We were led to believe there was live music every night based on the website, and my partner specifically chose this place for that reason. However, upon arrival on a Wednesday, we were informed that live music is only available on Thursdays. This was a significant letdown. Furthermore, after being excited by the fish and duck options on the menu, we were told by the waiter that both were unavailable, leaving only a vegetarian option and a chicken substitute. This was also very disappointing. Despite noting our anniversary on the reservation, we received no special acknowledgment like champagne or dessert, which is typically expected from a restaurant of this caliber. While the food itself was solid, and the staff, despite their errors, were nice, the overall experience was marred by these issues. I would not have paid the price for eggplant and the lack of live music. Hence, the 2-star rating.

Charming Spot with Delicious Food!
My experience at Uccello Lounge was absolutely charming! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. While the menu is limited, every dish was delicious—and honestly, having fewer options made choosing easier. I highly recommend this place, a perfect 10/10!

Beautiful Place, Great Service, Good Food
We tried this place last night after a concert at the Symphony. The place is beautiful, and the service is excellent. There are a lot of drink options. While there weren’t many food options, the ones we ordered, the wagyu tartare and the flatbread, were good. It is pricy.

Good Food, Needs to be Hotter
My experience at this restaurant was generally positive. The food was good, though I felt it should have been served hotter, especially considering the elevated price point. It's a good place for a small dinner before the symphony. The atmosphere was excellent, rated 5/5, and the food also received a 5/5 rating.

Wonderful Staff, Great Burger!
My experience at this restaurant was wonderful. I happened upon it while on my way to the Orpheum Theater, which is just around the corner. The staff was wonderful, the cocktails were great, and the burger was excellent. I will definitely be coming back!

Great First Michelada Experience!
I sat at the bar and had a great time. It was a relatively quiet Saturday, so it was only me and a few other guests at the bar, but there was plenty of space since it wraps around forming a U-shape around the bartenders. It was my first time having a michelada, and the esquites were delicious too! They mentioned this was a pop-up menu, but I'm looking forward to coming back to try their original menu.

Fantastic Private Party Experience
I attended a private party here that was absolutely fantastic. The servers were superb, the food was fantastic, the menu was memorable, and the drinks were delicious. The head chef even came out to greet the party at the end. The atmosphere was great, and the acoustics were amazing. A small jazz duo played during hors d'oeuvres, and the audio was great, allowing for perfect conversation while still hearing the music. During service in a room with over 40 people, conversations were audible and clear thanks to the baffling on the ceiling – definitely an A+ for the acoustics. All the right touches are there to make this place great.

Excellent Opera Pre-Show Dining
My favorite place to go before the opera! The food, wine, music, service, and cocktails are all excellent. The acoustics are also a major plus, allowing for easy conversation with dining companions. The restaurant is right at sidewalk level, and the tables are spaced far enough apart that my friend using a mobility scooter was able to navigate with no trouble. Just be sure to request a regular dining table when making a reservation, as some tables are bartop height.

Excellent Food, Small Portions
This was our second visit to Ucello. Our first experience was for drinks after an SF Symphony concert, which was great and featured a terrific jazz set. This time, we had an early dinner before the concert, and unfortunately, there was no jazz. The food was excellent, though the portions were quite small, especially the carpaccio. We also enjoyed the calamari, which was very tasty and good value. The pork plate and petrale sole were also excellent. For drinks, the highball was so-so, but the passion star cocktail was excellent, albeit pricey.
