Amazing Peruvian Food, Great Value
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I had the Aji de Galina, which is shredded chicken in a creamy Amarillo pepper sauce, and it was so amazing I did a happy dance. The Peruvian food is excellent and reasonably priced.
It's a quiet, family-owned restaurant located just a couple of blocks west of Grace Cathedral. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Homey Brunch with Great Service
My companion and I were seated right away for Sunday brunch. Although the food took a while to come out, it tasted homey and fresh. The waiters were nice and accommodating.
We would come back again and try their dinner menu too.

The atmosphere was fun and cozy, complemented by local art. The wait staff was attentive, and the price was fair for the food. I highly recommend it!

Decent Mexican-Peruvian Value, Breakfast Might Be Better
My experience at this restaurant was decent for its price point. The dinner food was a little forgettable, but it's possible that breakfast is their specialty. The mushroom and chicken empanadas were the best part of the meal.
I would skip the lomo saltado and the beef empanada.

Maya Flor: A Must-Try Peruvian/Mexican Gem
My experience at Maya Flor was truly exceptional! I rarely write reviews, but this place is so outstanding that I felt compelled to share. It's an incredible new restaurant offering a Peruvian/Mexican-inspired menu.
I've had the pleasure of trying both their brunch and dinner, and while both were excellent, the dinner was particularly special. The ceviche was vibrant, fresh, and bursting with authentic Peruvian flavors. Another standout was the paella; I can honestly say it might be the best I've ever had, even after visiting Spain.
The rice was perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and prepared with evident care and expertise. Beyond the food, the service was warm, attentive, and genuine. The owners are incredibly kind and clearly passionate about their creations, which adds to the charm and heart of every dish.
Maya Flor is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. I highly recommend it to locals and anyone who appreciates great food and doesn't mind a trip. I selfishly hope this place thrives for years to come because I plan on eating here a lot.
Long live Maya Flor!

Nice patio, slow service, okay food
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. The location and patio were nice, offering a pleasant atmosphere. However, the service was painfully slow, with a wait of an hour for our food.
The food itself was just okay. I also noted that the owner seems to engage in arguments on Google reviews.

Hidden Gem in Nob Hill!
My experience at this Mexican restaurant in Nob Hill was fantastic. It's truly the best kept secret in San Francisco, offering gourmet cuisine with a Peruvian influence in a stylish and pleasant setting. I had an amazing brunch where every dish was a taste sensation.
For weekends, I highly recommend the authentic Cafe Olla! I enjoyed the Huevos a la Mexicana, and my wife loved the Challah French Toast. We sat outside on a nice day, enjoying the sight of cable cars passing by and the great service.

A True Hidden Gem!
This place is a hidden gem. The food is cooked from scratch, making you feel like you are at home being cooked for. While tons of people wait in line for the place across the street, they have no idea what they are missing.
Eat here, I promise you won't regret it!
