Extremely Slow Service, Very Loud
My experience at this restaurant was marked by an incredibly loud atmosphere and agonizingly slow service. I felt like I would die before I got my main course. The entire experience was horrible; absolutely nothing seemed to move.
I just wanted to eat and go home. After 80 minutes, we had only received our first course.

Disappointing Service at Morton's
We visited Morton's The Steakhouse (San Francisco) on October 26 for my son’s engagement and birthday dinner. We spent over $800 and expected top-tier service. Unfortunately, our experience was far from it.
Our waitress argued with me about a salad dressing I was actively eating – I had ordered ranch but received blue cheese. She then rolled her eyes before snatching the plate. Later, she informed us she would “check our receipt” for mashed potatoes that we never ordered.
This is certainly not fine dining. While the food was great, it couldn't compensate for the disrespectful service. Morton's needs to retrain its staff on tone, professionalism, and basic courtesy.
Guests should not leave a celebration feeling embarrassed and disappointed.

Exceptional Service, Good Food, High Prices
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. While the food was good, it wasn't exceptional, and there was nothing to complain about. The service, however, was extraordinary, a perfect 100%.
The dining room is pleasant, contributing to a nice atmosphere. Be aware that the prices are very high, which is something to consider.

Long waits for takeout
My experience at the restaurant was marked by significant delays, especially for takeout orders. I was made to wait for more than half an hour past the given time. The provided metadata indicates low scores for both Service (1) and Atmosphere (1).

Incredible Food, Terrible Service
I've been to this location numerous times, as this is my favorite steakhouse, so I was excited to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday as she and her husband have never been there before. We were seated right away, and my friend's name on the menu for her 50th birthday was a nice touch, but then it went downhill from there. Our server arrived, never told us his name (not a big deal), took our drink & food orders, and disappeared.
Gone! Close to 30 minutes went by and we had to flag down a hostess who was seating another party to see where our waiter went. 10 minutes later our waiter showed up with our drinks, and by this time our food came out.
We then ordered a bottle of wine for dinner. Big mistake. Again, our waiter was a no-show.
And after another 20 minutes, we asked another waitress about the wine, and she said she would find out. Nope. At this point, dinner was done, and we flagged down a manager, asking about the wine, and he said something to the effect that the wine has to be unlocked by another manager?
I think it was less than $200 for the bottle but whatever. The food was still incredible, the ambiance perfect, but the service was subpar. The worse part is that I talked up this spot to my friends as a top-tier steakhouse in the Bay Area, but we would get better service at Texas Roadhouse.
Maestros it is.

Great Food, Lively Atmosphere Near Union Square
My experience at this restaurant, located near Union Square and Macy's, was quite positive. It was crowded even though it wasn't a weekend, which speaks to its popularity. I enjoyed the good food & wine.
The lighting, described as light/dark, along with the sounds, gave it a pub-like feel, reminiscent of "bia hoi" on the streets of Vietnam. The atmosphere and food were rated a 5 out of 5, and service also received a 5.

Birthday Celebration Perfection!
My birthday celebration at this restaurant was a truly delightful experience. Upon noting the occasion in my reservation, they went above and beyond by preparing a special birthday menu and decorating our table with festive balloon confetti. The food was done to perfection, with my husband's NY strip steak and my white wine cream sauce chicken dish both being outstanding.
We enjoyed the sides of brussel sprouts, sour cream mashed potatoes, and green beans, along with a generous loaf of onion bread. I particularly enjoyed the truffle butter drizzled over my green beans, which were prepared without the spicy Szechuan sauce as requested. The wedge salad was also excellent and they thoughtfully split it onto separate plates for us.
Portions were large enough to share. For dessert, the berries and whipped cream came with a special birthday chocolate and candle, adding a perfect sweet touch. Our server, Mike, was incredibly attentive and handled all our needs, including special beverage requests and holding our leftovers while we attended a play.
The excellent service and excellent food made for a memorable celebration.

Absolutely Out of This World Food!
I definitely have to go back. Even the sides were delicious. The Lobster Mac is from another planet.
The steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I understand now why good steaks don't need steak sauce.

Mixed Experience: Great Service, Overcooked Meat
My experience at the restaurant was a mix of positive and negative. The meat arrived overcooked and slightly burnt on the outside. However, the waiter was super friendly, which significantly improved the overall service aspect of my visit.

Amazing Food, Great Portions!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially regarding the food. The portions are always amazing and generous. I appreciate the à la carte option as it prevents wasting sides, which is great since I'm visiting from out of town.
The Ribeye is my absolute favorite, but for those seeking a smaller option, the filet mignon is incredibly tender and never disappoints. The atmosphere and service both received a perfect score of 5.
