My experience at this restaurant was freaking amazing! The overall experience was a 10/10, and the food was incredibly delicious. I'd like to thank Babu (I hope I spelled the name correctly) for the wonderful service.

My second visit to Apna Chulha, this time to experience their lunch buffet with my parents. We all had a great time and left feeling very full. For approximately $20 per person (before tip and tax), it's an unbeatable deal and a great affordable lunch in SF. The buffet offered a wide variety of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, and the naan was served fresh and hot to our table. Our server, Babu, was exceptionally friendly and attentive. It was heartwarming to see him pass out candy to children from a local daycare who were trick-or-treating, showcasing the business's support for the community. I highly recommend trying their lunch buffet! Our previous dinner experience was also fantastic.

I dropped by for the Sunday buffet and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is spacious and well lit, with nice decor. Our waiter was incredibly courteous and welcoming, even offering us complimentary masala chai. The buffet offered a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. My personal favorites were the chicken curry, potato-vegetable curry, and naan. While the variety wasn't extensive, there were certainly enough choices to sample. The desserts were on point, with the gulab jamun and kheer being particularly fantastic. Considering the reasonable price point of $18-19, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

My experience at this restaurant was marred by the extremely loud music on the street, making it impossible to have a conversation with my dining companion. Additionally, the sight of pots being cleaned on the floor in the backyard was quite off-putting. The noise level was rated as very loud, hard to hear.

I come here often for the buffet, and the service is impeccable. There are lots of vegetarian options, and they're all very flavorful.

My experience at the restaurant was not satisfactory. I was not satisfied with the Daal Makhni; it didn't taste or look like daal makhni served anywhere else in the world. The tea wasn't good either.

My experience at this restaurant was exceptional. It's one of the best Indian food restaurants in all of SF. The food was great, and the vibe was equally impressive. The establishment was extremely clean, and the servers were very pleasant, truly taking care of our meal with deep attention. The seating area is very large, making it a great place if you are looking for space to decompress, enjoy a pleasant meal, or celebrate. The portion sizes were pretty good. I have eaten here multiple times.

My friend and I visited this place for the first time and were warmly welcomed by the owner, who was very friendly. We decided to share some rice, which was prepared in a way that was different from what I've tried before, but in a good way 😇. I really liked it! The owner felt like the grandfather in the house 🏡.
