I only came for a drink, but I ended up staying for a couple more. The music was amazing, and it's a lovely place to stay and watch the world go by in a beautiful city. If you're into American sports, it will cater for you. It's a beautiful spot away from the tourist track. Thank you!

If you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan living in or visiting San Francisco, you need to check out the NorthStar Café in North Beach. This place is the official home of Birdgang SF, the most welcoming and passionate Eagles fan group in the city. The bar is shared with the SF Bills Backers (they take the front), but Eagles fans take over the back room, complete with isolated sound, so you get the full Birds experience. The space has a great energy, tons of camaraderie, and legit Philly vibes every game day. Ask for Jimbo — he’s the heart of the crew. Whether it’s your first time or you’re a regular, he’ll make you feel like part of the family. Fly Eagles Fly 🦅💚

I enjoy watching games here and I really appreciate that they play the game audio, for example during March Madness. My last experience here, however, turned me off a bit. I discovered on my credit card statement that they quadrupled the tip amount that I wrote in on my receipt, and I have a photo of the receipt to prove it. I hope this was an honest mistake, but none of the digits are the same, so that seems unlikely. It was a bit sketch.

As a man from the East residing in the West, I was searching for my North Star, but this bar with its pointless focus on sports and alcohol was not it. I only wish they would show cricket matches! Outdoors, they have large TVs mounted on wheels that I believe I can wheel to my home – I believe that is their purpose!

My experience at this restaurant was disappointing, especially if you're not one of the twenty regulars on Sundays. Don't expect to see the game you want on one of their twenty televisions, even if it's the game of the week. They will laugh and mock you for the request. I'd suggest going across the street to Boardroom for way better service and atmosphere.

I go to the Northstar for LSU weekends. The energy is amazing, and the service is as good as possible for having 500 people in a 15 X 30 foot bar. GEAUX TIGERS!

This is a great spot to go to after court. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect 5/5 rating. Just be careful with your conversation, as the District Attorney tends to be in here. 😂

This is a great locals corner with a great vibe and good music. We really LIKE it here! After Tupelo karaoke night, we know where to go!

Came here once on a road trip and had a great night. The bartenders are super friendly and funny. Good vibes overall.

This is one of the main North Beach local bars and it draws a crowd almost every night. The bartenders were nice. I used to watch football here with my roommate.
