Authentic Chongqing Food and Friendly Staff
My experience at this restaurant was wonderful. The staff were nice, and the food was good and authentic. It turns out the owner is from Chongqing, which explains the genuine flavors.
The atmosphere was also great, rated 5/5.

Authentic & Delicious Late-Night Chinese
My experience at Chef Xiong Kitchen was fantastic, delivering great flavor and convenience. The atmosphere is no-frills and casual, giving it the charm of a genuine, family-run eatery. Service was quick and efficient, perfect for a late-night craving.
The food truly shines, with crispy and delicious scallion pancakes as a perfect appetizer. The main dishes were the stars: mouthwateringly good spicy wontons with a perfect balance of heat and flavor, and an incredibly rich and hearty large bowl of beef noodle soup, loaded with tender beef, fresh bok choy, and cilantro. It tasted incredibly authentic, reminiscent of food from China.
While not a place for a fancy dinner, it's a solid choice for an authentic, delicious, and convenient meal, especially since they're open late – a lifesaver when you need a great meal long after other places have closed.

Excellent Sichuan Cuisine with Customizable Spice
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The service was excellent, with staff always checking in to meet our needs. The atmosphere was also great, contributing to an enjoyable dinner.
We found the food to be consistently nice. They specialize in Sichuan cuisine, and I appreciated that they can adjust the spice level if you're not able to eat super spicy food. This made the dining experience very accommodating.

Amazing Late-Night Authentic SF Dining
Wow — what an amazing late-night dining experience! My wife ordered the Mongolian beef with rice and I had the beef noodle soup. Both dishes were absolutely mouthwatering — fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor.
At 1am, the kitchen still managed to serve us incredibly fast; everything came out in about 10 minutes! The chef himself kept checking in on us and the other tables to make sure we were enjoying the food. My thumbs were up the entire time because the flavors were just that incredible.
If you’re looking for authentic, delicious, and fresh food in San Francisco — this is the spot. CHEF XIONG KITCHEN is hands down one of the best restaurants in the city, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves great food with outstanding service.

My experience at this restaurant was truly astounding. The dongpo pork was incredible and generously portioned, while the cold noodles offered a refreshing contrast. The chicken and lamb skewers were cooked to perfection.
To finish, the homemade ice jelly was heavenly, making us feel like we were in paradise. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Hidden Gem with Amazing Flavors!
What a wonderful hidden gem! My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. We had the dong po pork, which was fabulously done, and the cold Sichuan noodles absolutely rocked.
We also tried some bbq skewers, which were excellent – spicy and savory. Don't forget to try the homemade ice jelly! I can't wait to come back and try literally everything on their menu, as our neighbors had some amazing looking fish and hot pot.
It's an amazing place for an amazing value, and the flavors are so good. I can't rave about it more!

Jackpot for Flavor and Value!
After a day of hiking, I felt like I hit the jackpot at this restaurant for both flavor and value. The homemade Sichuan pickles were legit, and the handmade dumplings and handmade fresh sticky rice cake were fantastic. They even offer Bing Fen, which they call boba jelly on the menu!
All the dishes were excellent and had the right amount of spice. The service was excellent and attentive. I will definitely be back again!

Authentic Sichuan & Mongolian BBQ
My experience at the restaurant was very authentic and delicious. Both the Sichuan food (described as less oily than normal Chongqing style) and the Mongolian BBQ were amazing. The service was great and very attentive.
It's also a fantastic spot for late-night cravings, as they are open till 2am! 深夜食堂😋
