Confusing Entry, Cramped Space, Just Okay Food
My experience at this restaurant was marked by confusion from the start. It was unclear how to line up to get in, and the seating was quite cramped. The food itself was just okay, nothing special. Additionally, it's important to note that the restaurant is cash only.

Terrible Sushi, Horribly Expensive
My experience at this restaurant was overwhelmingly negative. The sushi was terrible, and the prices were horribly expensive. I would advise against coming here at all costs, as the meal ended up hurting our stomachs.

Awesome Food and Great Conversation!
My experience at this restaurant was AWESOME! My boyfriend and I ordered the tekka dinner for two and were delighted by the good food. We also had the pleasure of engaging in great conversation with the chef/owner.

Friendly Chef, Worth the Wait
I used to live across the street and there was always a line out the door. I finally tried it on a night when the line was low. The Chef was really friendly and shared stories about San Francisco, having been there since the 1970s. The overall experience was great.

Terrible Experience, Will Not Return
My experience at this restaurant was terrible all around. I will definitely not go to this place again. It certainly did not ruin all other SF sushi spots for me, and I will definitely not not be going back again.

Mediocre Food, Poor Service, Unpleasant Crowd
My experience at this restaurant was marked by mid food that was paired with plain mean service. The establishment also had an awful customer base that seemed to reflect the poor service.

Best Sushi in the City!
As a local, I'm cutting straight to the chase: the sushi here is absolutely delicious and the best I've had in the city, hands down. The fish is fresh, the atmosphere is intimate, and the price is extremely reasonable for the quality you get. I'll definitely be coming back! I was told to leave a 1-star review to keep it hidden, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Worth the Wait for Amazing Sushi
DO NOT GO HERE You will have to wait a long time and sometimes they might even turn you away. This was my third attempt to get in and finally got a seat for two. That being said if you really read reviews. This place lives up to the hype. The fish is fresh and delicious. My friend and I opted to have the Tekka Diner for two ($130). It comes with 2 appetizers, sashimi combo, 1 roll and unagi (eel) nigiri and we even got a bonus pineapple dessert! Everything was delicious and fresh! It’s probably one of the best sushi spots in the city for an affordable price. Jimmy and his mom runs this restaurant Tuesday-Friday. It’s a cozy traditional 10 seater Japanese sushi restaurant hence its’s difficult to get a table! It’s walk-in only but sometimes the owner will allow you to reserve if you’re a frequent comer and become friends with the owner/chef. We sat right next to Dave and Sashana who have been coming to the restaurant since 1996! They told us to write 1 star to gate keep this restaurant but in all honesty they totally deserved 5/5. Thanks for listening to my tedtalk.

Incredible but very small!
My experience was incredible! However, the whole place can fit only 10-12 people, so be prepared to show up and be turned away.

Unique Sushi, Worth the Wait
My experience at this restaurant was unique. It’s cash only and be prepared to wait a long time. However, it’s one of the most unique sushi places I’ve been to, run by the cutest couple.
