Cozy Vietnamese Comfort Food Spot
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I found it to be a cozy spot perfect for enjoying comfort food. The food was good, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try Vietnamese food. They offer free iced tea and very generous portions. My personal favorite dish was the bánh ướt.

Authentic Vietnamese Gem with a Hometown Feel
This casual bistro offers authentic Vietnamese food that truly impressed. My favorite dish was the slow braised pork ball in pork and tomato jus, perfectly complemented by a mini baguette on the side. The Vietnamese drip coffee was a delightful reminder of my hometown's flavors. The food and atmosphere both received a perfect score of 5, and there was no wait time. While the noise level was loud, it was still possible to hold a conversation.

Good Bánh Ướt, Cash Only
My experience at this restaurant was centered around a craving for Bánh Ướt. The restaurant itself is small but clean and tidy. The price is reasonable. Overall, the Bánh Ướt dish was good. However, I am a bit allergic to MSG and felt drowsy soon after eating. I haven't tried other dishes or bánh mì yet. I plan to come back.

Authentic Vietnamese Food with a Few Caveats
I visited this restaurant without any prior plans. It's run by Vietnamese staff; one speaks limited English, while the other is proficient. The menu has numbers, which makes ordering straightforward. Although it states 'cash only, ' I'm unsure if this is strictly enforced. The food is authentic, no-compromise Vietnamese cuisine, which might be polarizing for some. However, the effort and depth of flavor are undeniable, and the value for money is excellent. We visited with a baby in a stroller, and it's worth noting that the entrance is narrow and has steps, so keep this in mind if you plan to visit. Additionally, there are many homeless people nearby, and the area can be a bit smelly. The restaurant itself is relatively clean, but the interior is not spacious.

Best Vietnamese Food with Veggie Options!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I had the best Vietnamese food with veggie options I've ever encountered. I will definitely recommend it to everyone visiting or living in the city to try! 😍🙌❤️ The food received a perfect 5/5, as did the service and atmosphere. It's a great spot for lunch, and they have a vegetarian menu or section, making it highly recommended for vegetarians.

Authentic Bun Rieu & Banh Cuon
I’m from East Side San Jose/Little Saigon area and I’m Vietnamese. My friend and I decided to try this place on March 22nd because it was recommended by Soleil Ho, the former food editor of the Chronicle. We ordered the Bun Rieu (crab paste noodle) and their version of Banh Cuon (rice rolls). The quality of food was outstanding, earning a 10/10. The Bun Rieu was the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant, surpassing even my homemade version, with a comforting broth. This is a tiny, family-owned spot, and I highly recommend checking them out. I didn't get any pictures because I ate it all!

An Oasis of Delicious Vietnamese Food
I can call this place an oasis in Tenderloin! The shop is clean, and the staffs are friendly. The food is delicious and cheap by San Francisco standards, with a big portion. I tried a kind of noodles I've never had before, which isn't Pho or Bun found elsewhere. It's filled with fish, shrimp, and pork for only $15, not to mention fresh vegetables and a unique, deep-flavored broth! This will be my standard for Vietnamese food from now on. The dessert here is quite good as well.

Worst Pho Experience Ever
I'm on a mission to try all the pho in the area. This was the worst experience I've had in the TL or anywhere really. They brought me the wrong pho I didn't order and then lied to me about it. There was no shrimp in it. I will never go back to this place. They don't even speak English at all and it's too small. Plus ugly fat noodles. Not cool and I'm not hard to please.

Incredible Value Banh Mi in SF!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I was amazed by the $6 banh mi, which was both toasty and tasty. The rice noodles with pork loaf/shrimp cake were also a steal, as was the taro coconut dessert. I found the quality to be high and the prices the cheapest I've seen in SF. My friend also enjoyed his meatball stew and baguette. 😋
