Delicious Platanos and Tamales!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I had the platanos and tamales, and they were absolutely delicious. The serving of platanos was huge, so much so that I even had them for breakfast the next day. The service was both quick and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Consistent Flavors, Generous Portions
As I walked to an old neighborhood familiar with my host and friend Mauricio, we shared anecdotal stories of growing up in the Mission. It's been around for some time, and if they've changed anything, it's mostly some of the service staff. But their recipe and their flavors are constant and predictively good. If you enjoy pupusas, they have a nice plate that gives you all that you might want, including rice and beans! Come enjoy the flavors of El Salvador and come prepared to eat plenty because they have nice portions, and you won't settle for just 2. #TheBrokerWithAHeart

New Favorite Spot for Delicious Pupusas!
This is my new favorite restaurant in the area! I was incredibly impressed with the food, finding everything delicious. Specifically, the pupusas, chile relleno, and burritos were standouts. The pupusas are also very affordable, and all the other prices are reasonable. The atmosphere was rated a 5, and the service was also a perfect 5. It's a quiet place, making it easy to talk. While wheelchair accessibility is good with no significant steps or ramps, the front door could be powered.

Authenticity Lacking, Cash Only
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. The food itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't authentic Salvadoran cuisine. I suspect the waiter wasn't Salvadoran either, as he seemed unsure about the type of pupusa I had ordered. For breakfast, we were given Mexican tortillas, and to top it off, they only accept cash.

Tasty Pupusas, Great Service, Long Wait
The food is tasty, although they change the recipes a bit. For example, the pupusa salsa isn't traditional, but the flavor of the pupusas themselves makes up for it 🥰. The customer service is 10 out of 10. Every time I've visited, it's always full, so if you plan to go, you need to be prepared to wait 25 to 30 minutes for your food 🥰.

Terrible Beef and Service Experience
My experience at this restaurant was one of the worst. I asked for the beef, and it was really, really bad. The customer service was also terrible; it seemed like the staff didn't want to be working there.

Pupusa Cheese Change Disappointing
I visited yesterday and noticed a significant change in the cheese used in the pupusas. I can't quite explain it, but it had a weird flavor and texture that was not pleasant. It was really disappointing, and I'm surprised I seemed to be the only one who noticed. Luckily, there are other Salvadorean restaurants just a block away in either direction.

Delicious Res Soup with Great Sides
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic, especially with the sopa de res. It was very well seasoned and came with delicious corn tortillas and fried rice. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was also top-notch, both rated a 5 out of 5. The service also received a perfect score of 5.

Disappointing Reheated Plantains
My experience was mixed. The food itself is good, but this is the second time I've ordered takeout and specifically requested plantains, only to receive them reheated instead of fresh. 😏😏 My husband didn't want to call to complain. It feels like a waste of money. 🤨🤨

Good Food, Bad Parking
My experience at this restaurant was overall good, though they use pinto beans instead of Salvador red beans. The parking situation is quite difficult to find. Despite these points, the food was enjoyable.
