My experience at this restaurant was mixed. While the pastry was good, the service was very slow, and there was a lack of food availability for what I wanted. I would suggest going to "Valerio Bakery" at Seafood City in South San Francisco or the 85 degree bakery shop at Serramonte Mall instead. 👎👎

My family loves this place and wanted me to bring desserts. I have never personally ordered from here, but I read previous reviews and already knew it would be hard to get through, but I tried anyway. I called 3 times when they first opened, but got a message with their business hours. After a few minutes, I tried again, and the line was busy. Finally, after my 6th or 7th attempt, I got through but was immediately put on hold. I was on hold for 5 minutes, and then I was able to place my order. On the day of pick up, there was no parking. So definitely go with someone so that you're not circling the area. When I went inside, there was a line and no one at the register. It took a while, but it was finally my turn. The order was ready, and the cashier was polite. The prices were raised, and there's no coconut for the kutchinta.

I've been a loyal customer of this great small place for Filipino desserts for a very long time. It's important to note that they do not take cards, so make sure to bring cash. Additionally, finding parking can be a challenge as you'll have to circle around in the neighborhood. The food is excellent, with White Puto and Kutsinta being highly recommended.

I don't live in the city, but I was visiting someone around the Mission area and was hoping to buy some hopia and other desserts today. Unfortunately, the store was closed even though online information stated they were open. This was disappointing as it seems they are always closed whenever I stop by. Additionally, it's difficult to find parking.

It's incredibly difficult to know when they are actually open during the week, and the hours listed on Google Maps are inaccurate, adding to the inconvenience.

Every time I am in the Bay Area, I pick up Puto from Aling Hilda to take home, usually 5 dozens. They open at 10: 00 AM, but nobody picks up the phone until 11: 00 AM, and then there's no Puto available! I was told I have to order a week in advance. This is frustrating because I'm leaving tomorrow for LA. On previous trips, I could call one day before for pickup the next day, which I thought was realistic.

I am updating my review to reflect a negative experience due to incorrect business hours. I spent over an hour looking for parking, only to discover that the restaurant was closed. The business hours stated that you were open at 11 am on Sunday, but it was almost 1 pm and the establishment was locked up. I have been coming here for years and am disappointed that I not only wasted time searching for parking but also wasted my time coming to this place. Once the hours are corrected, I will update my review to a more positive one.

Parking is a challenge, but the quality of their food is worth it, as is the pleasant and professional customer service.

My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The putos were the best I have ever had, truly a standout dish. However, the staff was not very welcoming. It seemed they either ran out of putos or were not ready to serve them. My advice is to call before you go to ensure they have what you need.

However, the overall experience was significantly hampered by the difficulty in reaching them and the inconsistent store hours. I found it impossible to get a hold of anyone by phone, and when I did visit the actual store, it was often closed. It's crucial that the online hours are updated or a sign with accurate store hours is displayed. Perhaps they could even hire someone to manage calls and orders, and pay them in hopia! Lol
