Expensive with Small Portions and Poor Service
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. The food itself was not bad, but the portion sizes were quite small, making it feel expensive. The pricing for drinks was particularly outrageous; $5 per person for tea, totaling $20 for a party of four with just one tea bag and four cups, is excessive. The service was not great, as they were reluctant to refill hot water unless asked. Additionally, the staff seemed eager for us to leave, asking if we wanted to bag our food as soon as we were almost done eating.

Solid Food, Friendly Service
My experience at this restaurant was pretty good and solid. The pork chop fried rice was my favorite; the fried rice was very flavorful and the pork chop wasn’t dry. The spicy wonton was full of meat, and I loved the ratio. The xiao long bao (XLB) and pan-fried dumplings were mediocre, with the meat being a little bland and not much soup in them. We made a reservation and had no wait. The service was friendly and quick.

Disappointing Din Tai Fung Dupe
We were excited to try this place because social media influencers called it a Din Tai Fung dupe. After eating there, I truly think that’s an insult to DTF. The soup dumplings tasted really porky, and I bit on a little piece of pork that was very tough and not chewable; I had to spit it out. The pork and shrimp spicy wontons had an even heavier pork taste, to our surprise; they tasted bad and not flavorful. The only decent dish was the Dan Dan noodle. Oh, and definitely skip the drunken chicken; it tasted bland, and the chicken was watery - not good at all. Would not go back.

Good Food, Overworked Staff
My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was very good and fresh, which was a definite plus. However, the chocolate xiaolong bao was a bit weird. On the service front, the servers seemed very overworked, which impacted the overall experience.
