Extremely Sick After Eating Here
My experience was extremely negative. I got extremely sick after eating here. Some of the meat I could not eat because it was slimy or still pink. I'm not sure if they're using old grease or undercooking the chicken. I ordered from the app, and by default, it gave me this one, so I guess I will no longer be ordering from the app for delivery. 🥴🙃

Disappointing app redemption experience
I tried to redeem some points on my app and needed some help, but the cashier didn’t understand English very well. Additionally, the lady manager wasn’t very helpful or knowledgeable about using the company’s app. Consequently, I couldn’t redeem my points and left on an empty stomach.

Inconsistent Staff, Avoid Morning/Afternoon
My experience at this restaurant was not good. The staff, particularly the women working in the morning and early afternoon, provided a horrible service. If you ask for fresh food, the lady supervisor would instruct them to quickly put already-sitting food into the grease and serve it to you, rather than making a fresh order. However, the man supervisor who works in the evening ensures orders are correct. I've witnessed this discrepancy on multiple occasions and can clearly differentiate between the early and late staff. My recommendation is to visit the Popeyes in Daly City, across from the Shell gas station.

Popeyes Chicken: A Community Unifier
Popeyes chicken is the shizznit! And this location on Mission and Geneva is the best. Back when I lived in Daly City, the Mission 14 bus was my main ride. Everyone who got off at this stop would head straight inside to Popeyes. Half the bus emptied like class was about to be in session. They all came for the 2 piece and the price was ridiculously low, around $3. I see now they have a $2. 29 two-piece special on Tuesdays, but back in 2011, it was $3 for a 2-piece every day. There was never a long wait either; those chicken clerks knew how to dish those drums and thighs out. These neighborhoods on Mission are HOOD, seriously, it makes Tijuana seem civilized. But the Popeyes Chicken here on Geneva brought the community together. Black folks, Mexican folks, Salvadorian folks, Filipino folks – we were all family when we had that chicken in our hands. I hope this location stands forever.
