Satisfying Seafood Sandwich with a View
My experience at Nopa Fish, located inside the San Francisco Ferry Building, was a pleasant one. It's a modest seafood sandwich shop surrounded by a lively mix of artisanal food vendors. A short walk to the back of the building offered a scenic view of the ferry terminal and the Bay Bridge, which added a quintessentially San Francisco touch to the experience. I tried the grilled tuna sandwich ($25), which offered a pleasing balance of textures — crisp on the outside, tender and moist within — and a subtle complexity of flavor. Overall, it was a satisfying choice worth 3½ stars. On my next visit, the seafood salad will be at the top of my list.

Awful Service Ruined Good Food
My experience at this restaurant was a mix of good food and a truly awful service. The food was really good, and the atmosphere was vibrant, typical for the ferry building. However, the service was God awful and ruined the whole experience. As I was finishing my last bite, a staff member abruptly grabbed my plate, utensils, and napkins without waiting for me to finish swallowing or even wipe my mouth. They then had the audacity to ask me to leave immediately to free up the seat, despite there being other empty seats nearby. I believe it's essential to allow customers a moment to finish their paid meal before being asked to vacate. Due to this rough treatment, I will be asking for my tip back.

Exceptional Food and Service!
My experience at this restaurant blew away all my expectations! The entire staff was incredibly professional and passionate about their food. While the menu was short and sweet, everything served was at an elevated level. I had the best tuna melt of my life, and my partner's fish and chips were also incredible. Although it's a relaxed, fast-casual space, the pricing reflects the zip code and the elevated quality of everything. Job well done!

Excellent Smoked Trout Latke, Solid Chowder
My experience at the restaurant was largely positive, especially with the food. The smoked trout latke was absolutely awesome, with every component being excellent. I will definitely be getting it every time I go. The fish chowder was solid, though it felt a little two-dimensional. The potato chips were very good, and my friends raved about the tofu sandwich. Overall, a great meal with some standout dishes.
