How are the prices at Maude's?

You’re looking at roughly 23 per person – reported by 8 diners. That puts it in the $21–$30 category. For a Bar & Pub, it’s comfortably mid-range: not a steal, but not bank-breaking either.

Interestingly, while the average is 23, a good number of guests actually spent a bit less, in the $11–$20 range, suggesting some great value options. The prices are a bit spread out, offering both budget-friendly and slightly more premium choices. Since we only have 8 reviews, its a good indication, but keep in mind its a small sample.

Menu Change Disappoints Loyal Customers
9lb and Maude’s used to be great spots for drinks, pinball, and awesome bar food. However, since the menu has changed, it just doesn’t feel the same. While I know it might seem silly to complain about food at a bar, it was a key factor that set these two places above the competition. The pricing and portions are now awful compared to the old menu. Perhaps it's due to the rising cost of food and everything else, but I'll likely be heading to other spots for a night out.

Great Gin and Tonics, Creative Food Substitute
My experience at the restaurant was quite positive. Although they ran out of taco shells, the staff member Noel was quick to whip up a substitute that was potentially even better. I also enjoyed Juliana's Gin and Tonics, which were some of the best I've had in the area. The overall experience was excellent, with high ratings for service, atmosphere, and food.

Amazing Steak and Whiskey Night!
My experience at this restaurant has consistently been enjoyable, thanks to the friendly staff and the great food. This evening, I participated in their steak and whiskey night, which happens every Wednesday. It was absolutely AMAZING! The ribeye steak, on its own, was remarkably tender and perfectly seasoned. The accompanying salad and loaded potato were equally impressive, making it a delightful challenge to decide where to focus my attention. It felt like a gourmet steak and sides experience, enhanced by the atmosphere of a much-loved bar. For those who don't eat steak, I highly recommend trying anything else on the menu; I've tried most of their offerings and have always enjoyed them.

Rude Bartender Drove Me Away
It was Saturday, April 26th, around 1 PM, and I stopped by for a beer and lunch after my sales runs. Unfortunately, I had to leave before ordering because the bartender was absolutely rude. As a fellow bartender myself, I enjoy trying new places, but this bartender was short, seemed mad at life, and I suspect hateful towards people with accents like mine. It wasn't just me; she also barked at another customer ordering. I only leave negative reviews when a place truly deserves it.

Great Bar Food and Drinks on Tuesdays
On Tuesdays, this place is a quiet bar with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. The keeper, Johannes, was polite and provided great drinks and conversation. The food was excellent bar food, salty and flavorful. My wife loved her Lemon drop, and the poutine and Ruben were fantastic!
