Promising Space, Disappointing Food
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The space itself was nice, and the service was great, receiving a perfect score. However, the food was a significant letdown. The burger, priced around $25, was bland and greasy, suggesting it might have been cooked in tallow, which seemed unusual. The $2 add-on kale caesar salad was also quite bad, featuring stale croutons, old curly kale, and a dressing that was definitely not caesar. The brioche bun for the burger was the only redeeming quality of the food. We did not have any drinks. Overall, while the atmosphere and service were good, I cannot recommend the food.

Surprisingly Good Food, Okay Atmosphere
I love this neighborhood joint where the food is surprisingly good. I highly recommend trying the pork sandwich, pretzel, and wings. The atmosphere is definitely not my favorite, but I am always happy to go.

Overpriced and Underwhelming Pub Experience
As a newcomer to Magnolia, I aimed to give local establishments a fair shot. Unfortunately, my experience at Magnolia Pub was a letdown. The menu felt uninspired, offering generic pub fare without any discernible creativity. The use of "Sammiches" for sandwiches struck me as a lazy gimmick rather than charming. The prices were completely out of touch and frankly, outrageous. Charging $16 for just six wings is absurd, especially when compared to top wing spots in Seattle that offer the same portion for $10. Consequently, I bypassed the wings and opted for the $25 burger. For that price, I received a mediocre burger, a small portion of fries, and a $12 pint of beer that did not justify its cost. By the time the bill arrived, the total, including tip, was nearly $50 for a single burger and beer. Given the inflated online ratings, I question the authenticity of some of the glowing reviews. Magnolia deserves better than this overpriced and underwhelming pub; the drive to Ballard or Queen Anne suddenly seems more appealing.

Excellent Food, Drinks, and Service!
I've visited this restaurant multiple times and sampled various dishes from their menu. I can confidently say the food is genuinely good, far surpassing typical bar fare. It's a place I would absolutely recommend for a meal. The drinks are also excellent, and the service has consistently been very professional and good. Overall, I'm very impressed with this establishment 🙌🏻 PS: Try the Chicken Tenders.

Consistently Great Food and Service!
My experience at this restaurant has been fantastic! The food and beverage menu has improved SO MUCH over the past few years, and the service is unexpectedly amazing for a pub. We live nearby and it's the only restaurant in town we go to on the regular. It's also super kid friendly with plenty of free street parking and no wait time. The atmosphere is great, and the food is consistently excellent.
