Great Coffee, Terrible Service
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. While the coffee was great, the service was extremely disappointing. One of the staff members was incredibly rude, screaming at us while the cafe was busy, even though we had done nothing wrong. To make matters worse, this same staff member was consistently getting customer orders wrong. We used to love this place, but unfortunately, due to this negative service experience, we won’t be returning.

Awesome coffee, food, and service!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I absolutely loved the awesome tasty coffee and food. The owner, who I believe is the person referred to as 'her', truly cares about her customers. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I also enjoyed the atmosphere.

Best Coffee and Sweet Owner!
I am so glad I walked into Katy's last week. I got to meet the owner, and it was some of the best coffee I've had in Seattle in the past decade. The line was super long, and the wait was awhile for my sandwich and mocha, but as soon as I saw someone come in to help out the one barista and one cook, I went up to say something. The person I spoke to ended up being Katy, the owner, and she is super sweet and genuine. She was very understanding and didn't hesitate to accommodate me. I told them I'd be back and I plan to go there again this weekend. The atmosphere is wonderful as well, lots of cute doggos and cute people 🩷 Also, don't sleep on the day old pastries, they taste fresh and delicious! Only $1. 10 + tax.

Disappointing Bagel, Great Service
My experience was centered around the famous breakfast bagel. I had it the next day, which might have affected my perception, or perhaps it just wasn't for me. I love McDonald's sausage egg McMuffin and can eat those three days old and still love them. The ratio of bagel to filling felt overwhelming, and eating it felt like a chore with no distinct flavors popping. For almost $12, it wasn't worth it for me. However, the people there were great, and they seemed to put a lot of effort into the sandwich. I was ultimately disappointed by all the hyped reviews I had read about it.

Cozy Chai and Poetry Haven
My experience was one of warmth and comfort, primarily from the delicious vanilla chai. This was complemented by a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, kind staff, and delightfully disorganized shelves stocked full of poetry collections and zines.
