Quick Bite with Tasty Hotdogs
I ran in for a quick bite and ordered the corn dog. My lunch mate ordered the C. O. B. Hotdog. Both were really good, and one came with a good size portion of tots, big enough to share.

Mixed Feelings on a Sunday Lunch
My experience at the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon was a mixed bag. Although they don't have an extensive menu, the items they do offer are generally delicious. I was hoping for pancakes, but they were only serving lunch until 3: 00 p. M. I ordered the Street Tacos with Chicken, while my friends opted for Nachos and Quesadillas. My friends, being regulars, were familiar with the menu. One friend found her nachos to have too much cheese and sour cream, and ended up sharing them. Her husband, however, quickly finished his quesadillas. I found my street tacos to be too bland with dry chicken, making them difficult to eat. On the other hand, the Italian soda was quite good, and my ice cream sundae was a highlight, featuring huge scoops of vanilla bean ice cream from Husky Deli. Next time, I might try the nachos, which my friend described as delicious with lovely thin tortillas and plenty of cheese and sour cream, though lacking other toppings.

New Menu Burgers at Highstrike Grill
We hadn't visited Highstrike Grill, located inside West Seattle Bowling, in a while. Today, I decided to try their hamburger. The menu had been updated, and my usual favorites, the burgers and sweet potato fries, were no longer available. However, we found something interesting on the new menu. We ordered the 206 Burger and the Tofu Burger. Both burgers and sandwiches come with a choice of fries, tots, side salad, coleslaw, or grilled veggies. The 206 Burger features marinaded local Angus, Monterey Jack, crispy onion straws, bacon, teriyaki glaze, Alley sauce, and a toasted brioche bun. The Tofu Burger includes pan-seared teriyaki-marinated tofu, Sriracha soy straws, sweet chili aioli, crispy wonton chips, and a toasted brioche bun. Both were satisfying, with the tofu burger being a bit sweeter, which I enjoyed. While the previous sweet potato fries were delicious, they are no longer offered. I opted for the potato skin fries, and the saltiness was just right. The venue offers the option to enjoy bowling next door, and if you're hungry, you can order food. They also have a full-service lounge serving beer, wine, liquor, and soda.
