Unwelcoming to Families, Average Food
I would not recommend this restaurant for families with very small children. We were a party of two and requested to sit at one of the empty, larger tables in the back that had a cushioned seat where we could safely place our car seat. However, the staff was not accommodating or understanding. The waiter refused our request, and the manager reiterated the denial without offering an apology. The business seemed to prioritize profit over our baby's safety, as they wanted us to place the car seat on a typical, unsecured chair, which was unacceptable. This incident occurred on a Wednesday evening, and I feel this place does not deserve our business. Beyond this recent experience, I have dined here several times. While they do offer catering, and the food portions are large with an okay taste, most dishes tend to be quite oily compared to other Chinese restaurants. The service has consistently been average or slightly below. When dining in, the waiters address needs at a basic level, and none of them appear happy working there.

Delicious Food, Unassuming Spot
My experience at this restaurant was centered around the food, which was clearly their main focus over the aesthetics. It's a small, rather unassuming place, but the food was absolutely incredible! Everything we ordered – the seafood soup, half a duck, walnut shrimp, and chicken wings – was hot, fresh, and surprisingly fast, especially considering how busy they were. Each dish was prepared exceptionally well and was better than the same item from other establishments. Everything was hands down delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Impressive Wings, Plain Chicken, Price Discrepancy
My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. I tried the famous wings, and their crisp was genuinely impressive. However, the chicken itself didn’t quite match the hype; the inside was surprisingly plain and lacked seasoning. This felt unusual, as many Asian restaurants excel at well-marinated dishes. I also noticed a significant issue with the prices; the ones listed on the menu didn’t match what I was charged, with the total on the receipt being almost 20% higher.

Flavorless Wings, Overhyped Chinese
My experience at Golden Chopsticks was disappointing, particularly regarding their Salt and Pepper wings. While the texture was solid with a good crunch, the flavor was severely lacking. It felt like the seasoning was only on the surface, leaving the actual flesh of the wings bland. This is a stark contrast to other highly regarded Chinese restaurants where the flavor is infused into the meat before frying. The presentation looked appealing with green onions, chili flakes, and garlic, but these elements didn't translate to taste. I believe adding fresh chilis like serrano or jalapeno slices would significantly improve the dish, as many better establishments do. Despite the hype, especially from social media influencers, I found Royal Mandarin to be superior, even if it requires a longer drive. For party platters where you're paying a premium, it's worth seeking out better options. Regarding service, as is typical in many Chinese restaurants that aren't gentrified, expectations should be managed. The atmosphere was very loud, making conversation difficult.
