The vibe here has some definite upsides! Many folks appreciate the overall atmosphere, decor, and comfortable seating, especially in the new location. With 8 positive remarks out of 15 total, it seems there's a good foundation, and some even said the place was ROCKING for a family party.

Value (2 out of 10)

mentioned by 5% of the guests

Looking at the overall picture for value, it seems theres not much to celebrate. With a 2 score, which falls into the poor category, and a 0% customer satisfaction, its clear that guests arent finding much to rave about in terms of what they get for their money. In fact, out of 1 total piece of feedback, none were positive.

On the flip side, the feedback we did receive points to a clear issue: the price. The main sentiment is that the experience is simply Overpriced. This single negative piece of feedback, though limited, strongly suggests that guests feel theyre paying too much for what's offered, leaving significant room for improvement in this area.

Delicious Food, Empty Restaurant
I tried this restaurant on a whim because it was highly rated by the Infatuation. I went on a Wednesday night around 7 PM and was dismayed to see that the restaurant was empty! The food was really delicious, with lots of vegetables. We got the beef and chicken, which were both prepared delightfully, and the squares of vermicelli were also delicious. The beef was thinly sliced beef wrapped around shredded radish. For two people, we got two meats and had plenty of leftovers. I would highly highly recommend, and hope to see the restaurant busier next time!

Best Vietnamese Gem in Outer Richmond
Anh Hong holds a special place in San Francisco’s food scene and in my heart. I can say it’s the best Vietnamese restaurant! With over 30 years of history, this Vietnamese gem is now nestled in the Outer Richmond. What keeps me coming back is their warm hospitality and fresh, flavorful dishes. I especially love the DIY spring rolls — there’s something so fun and satisfying about assembling your own with fresh herbs, vermicelli, and grilled meats or shrimp. One of my favorites is the Grilled Shrimp on Sugarcane — juicy, sweet, and perfectly grilled. Whether I’m catching up with friends or craving comfort food with my family, Anh Hong is always my top choice. I appreciate what this restaurant has built over the years and I love the amazing food. Highly recommend you give it a try!

Amazing Lamb Chops and Great Soup!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I had one of the best lamb chops I've ever tasted. The soup I ordered was also very good; it had shrimp in it, though I can't recall the name. I'll definitely be back to try the lamb chops again, as this is now my new favorite spot for them.

Overpriced with Lack of Attention
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I found it to be overpriced and noted a significant lack of attention to detail. There are many much better Vietnamese options available in our wonderful city. I hope they invest in the customer experience and consider slashing prices by 50%.

A Decade of Delicious Vietnamese Delights
I've been a loyal customer of this Vietnamese restaurant for nearly a decade, having followed them since their downtown days. It's been over 10 years now, and time truly flies! While they don't serve pho, they specialize in fresh spring rolls, and honestly, all their dishes rank among the top 5 in San Francisco. In a city where many famous restaurants focus on social media hype, I appreciate that this place prioritizes the quality of their food. Anh Hong is an absolute must-try in San Francisco, and I assure you, you will never regret it!
