Horrible Food, Big Thumbs Down
I've visited this restaurant multiple times. Initially, the food was great, and as a Spanish person, I know good Spanish cuisine. However, on subsequent visits, the experience declined significantly. A few weeks after my first visit, I brought a friend, and the food was only so so. We returned to try a different dish, which turned out to be horrible. In a final attempt, we ordered nachos, expecting a simple dish they couldn't possibly ruin. To our dismay, the nachos were absolutely horrendous. They were ice cold, despite living less than half a mile away. All the toppings were buried underneath, making the entire dish disgusting. We couldn't even eat them. I give this place a big thumbs down. They have horrible food there now.

Best Mexican Choice Around
I come here often. The service is great, and the food is delicious. This is a small place. The free parking lot is shared with multiple businesses, so it may take a minute to find a spot, but it's worth it. There are several Mexican restaurants nearby, but Algobertos is the best choice. It's authentic.

Service Issues Ruin Long-Time Customer Experience
My recent experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing, leading to the decision that we will not be returning. The service has gone down significantly, particularly with a young lady at the front who displayed a very nasty attitude. This was the second challenge we've encountered since the new staff arrived, and this time, it truly put a sour taste in my mouth. My wife and I consistently order the same item: a chimichanga pollo asada burrito with no cheese inside and cheese on the outside. I called in my order and specified this, but the staff member repeated it back incorrectly three times, insisting on cheese inside. Upon arrival for pickup, I was met with a curt "how can I help you? " instead of a welcome. When I informed them it was a pickup order, it was again repeated back incorrectly. I emphasized the importance of getting the order right to avoid frustration. Unfortunately, when I received the burrito, there was no cheese on top, confirming my fear that it was inside. When I inquired about who took the order, the young lady with the braid, who consistently has an attitude, stated, "well it’s busy, we all take orders. " I asked again if anyone remembered the order, and another young lady confirmed she took it and repeated it back correctly. Despite this, the first young lady pushed my bag towards me, dismissively saying, "it’s not a big deal. " I responded that it was indeed a big deal and that the lack of customer service is very unfortunate. She then attempted to walk away, but I advised her that her customer service needs work. I concluded by stating that unfortunately, the establishment has lost a customer of many years due to the lack of communication and customer service experienced on our last couple of visits. I am unsure about this new staff, but it's regrettable that we will be finding somewhere new.
