Bug in Mala Tang Disappointing
I’ve eaten at this restaurant many times and usually they do a pretty good job. Unfortunately, this time I found a bug in my mala tang, which was very disappointing. I hope the restaurant can pay more attention to the cleanliness of their kitchen in the future. I still hope they can improve, because my past experiences were generally good.

Good Malatang, Pricey Dry Pot
My experience at this restaurant offered a good food selection, particularly for malatang, with many items to choose from. I found that adding $2 for the dry pot was worthwhile, as it was really good. However, the pricey nature of the dry pot and the small rice portion were drawbacks. The restaurant gets super busy during lunchtime.

Good Food, Terrible Cashier Attitude
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was good, and I found the boss to be nice. However, the experience was significantly marred by the cashier, described as a dude with a cap, glasses, and blue hair. When I inquired about the soup options and their differences, he responded with the nastiest attitude imaginable, making me feel ridiculed for not understanding. Despite the good food, I will opt for takeout only from now on due to this service issue.

Great Malatang, Terrible Service
The malatang here is solid, genuinely on par with our favorite spot in LA. Bonus points for serving filtered water, which I appreciate. However, the service and organization of this restaurant were terrible. While I understand the manager's attempt to make it more of a sit-down experience, it felt unnecessary compared to other malatang places. My boyfriend and I endured a 40-minute wait, which is unheard of at similar establishments. This wait was worsened by the manager's personal seating of tables and the staff's neglect of those waiting, even with three empty tables. The manager was friendly, but efficiency should be prioritized. The encounter with the cashier was particularly unpleasant. When asked about spice levels, he spoke too quickly and under his breath. Upon asking him to repeat, he seemed annoyed and standoffish, repeating it slowly as if mocking us. It's a shame because the actual food is really good.
