Disappointing Experience with Dry Chicken and Cold Rice
I felt like I was misled by other reviews. Upon entering, there was no greeting. I had to initiate the order, and the staff didn't seem to ask how they could help. The chicken was not cooked to order; it appeared to be pre-cooked, and they served what was available. The chicken itself was dry, and the rice was cold. I also noticed a significant difference in thickness between the sauce served on the side and the sauce used from the pot, which made me question the preparation. The sauce on the side was placed on a cardboard box and then put inside the food container on top of the food. While the chef seemed to cook the food, the front counter person prepared it. This was my first and last time trying this place, which is a shame because teriyaki is a favorite dish of mine. I was very disappointed, only managing a few bites before setting it aside. I truly hope things improve, and I might consider giving it another try in the future.
