Ridiculous Prices, Stale Fries, Burnt Wings
My experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. For $20, I received only 10 wings and some fries, which I found to be absolutely ridiculous prices. The fries were lukewarm and not crispy, tasting stale. The wings, while a decent size, had a taste of burnt fryer oil. It was a terrible meal. The visible kitchen area looked concerning, with fryer oil that appeared black and smoking, suggesting it hadn't been changed in weeks and was smoking up the entire restaurant.

Disappointing Fast Food Experience
I’m sure they’ll make a killing because the high school is nearby, but I was not impressed by anything at this store. My expectations were low, because when I eat fast food I tend to favor locally owned restaurants, which are usually better, and Wingstop lived down to those expectations. The atmosphere was dark and uninviting. The floor looked like it needed a sweeping and a mop. Service was meh; it’s fast food, and I don’t expect miracles. But the guy at the counter isn’t doing himself any favors by being so grumpy. The food? Blech. Way too salty. The chicken sandwich was tinged with pink and was just fried chicken smeared in a sauce that wasn’t even hot (I got “cajun, ” which was third hottest on the menu, IIRC). I got pickles, which were a wilty disappointment. That’s it? And a combo meal of greasy fries smothered with seasoning salt, and a drink, and that’s $13? And I waited 15 minutes for that? Why? I can’t imagine what would make me return here. Also, Wingstop, even though I didn’t like it, I would have tipped. The workers deserve at least a chance of tips at fast food wages. But it wasn’t even an option when I paid. Give customers a way to tip your workers! After all, I don’t think a majority of customers will be back anyway! Might as well get every dime you can!

Racist experience with Mira
I went into the restaurant to order food and use the restroom. The lady named Mira told me they do not take cash, only card. She then stated, "we do not serve your kind, " which I found to be a racist remark as I am Mexican and Native American. This was not cool. She then told me to leave or she would call the cops on me. They are racist in Roosevelt Wingstop. On September 9th, 2025, I went in and Mira, the cashier, refused to give me a receipt, saying it was for their records. She was rude. Mira also made the racist remark, "we don't normally serve you're kind. " I hope Mira knows that telling me she's keeping my receipt for Wingstop records is illegal. If I wanted to, I could report Mira to the police.

Fantastic food, poor atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was marked by fantastic food and excellent service. While the atmosphere was not great, the food quality and service made up for it. I would recommend taking the food to go if the vibe is not your priority.
