Disappointing Service, Fixable Issues
I visited this bar with a friend recently and had a rather disappointing experience, primarily due to the service. The bartender, described as young and very large, had the personality of a "wet mop. " He took my nearly finished vodka cranberry, which I was still sipping on the ice, and my friend's double whisky straight up, which also had a small sip left. When I pointed this out, he dismissively stated, "It was all gone. " While the owners are a nice Philly couple and there are some good bartenders, like a shorter female who worked earlier, the overall atmosphere felt like a "clique bar" with young, snobby patrons. The owner needs to address this and train staff to make customers feel welcome. This particular bartender "turned me off bigly, " leading to a meager $2 tip compared to the $12. 50 I gave the earlier bartender. In Seattle, where bars are expensive, staff should understand that poor service negatively impacts revenue. I spent $62. 00 for an hour of free pool, two double cranberry vodkas, and two whiskies, and it was "100% not my best time. " This is a harsh critique, but the issues seem "very fixable. "

Phenomenal Bartender and Burgers!
As a fan of Channel 5 for a few years, I didn't really have expectations for how good or bad the bar would be. I was just happy to experience it. Both the bartender and the Burbs Burgers were phenomenal. Can't wait to come back!

Kitchen Closed Early, Bar is Fine
My experience at this restaurant would have been 5 stars, but every single time I’ve gone, their kitchen is closed early. It’s fine as a bar, but the food aspect is a major issue.

Cool Dive Bar with Great Burgers
My experience at this cool semi dive bar was great. They offer good pours and a nice selection of beer choices. There's also some outdoor seating available. The service was prompt and the staff friendly. They have an in-house burger place, and I personally thought the burger was really good!
