Value (4 out of 10)

mentioned by 17% of the guests

Looking at the value, a small number of diners did find some positives, describing it as cheap, Affordable, and even def worth the price! These few bright spots, accounting for 3 out of 10 comments, suggest that for some, the pricing might hit the mark. However, the overall sentiment, reflected in a score of just 4 and customer satisfaction at a low 30%, indicates a challenging situation.

On the flip side, the majority of feedback, with 7 negative comments, points to significant concerns. Many felt they could have got a better deal, with some calling it boring/mediocre from menu to price and even a waste of money! Theres a strong sense that the establishment is ripping off your customers, especially when things arent worth the price.

This clearly contributes to the poor overall score and satisfaction.

Yummy Chicken, Sweet Service!
My experience was incredibly positive! The spicy fried chicken was so yummy and reminded me of Jollibee, possibly even a bit better. It was definitely worth the price. The guy working there, who was by himself, was exceptionally accommodating and sweet. Even though the chicken was a new batch and we had to wait a bit, he provided us with what he could while we waited and consistently checked in on us. He was honestly such a nice guy. All of the tables were also clean and tidy, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere.

Great Food, Service Needs Support
My experience at this restaurant was primarily positive due to the food, which truly hits the mark. Despite being a two-part establishment, it's not a bad setup. The one guy working there, who we've seen on all three visits, is incredibly nice and does his best to serve everyone. While we missed the Cajun corn last night, we enjoyed some really good fries instead. The issues with the place aren't really with the server who's juggling multiple roles, but rather with the managerial choices of the business. The soda machine is still down with only Sprite working, and the ambience is just okay, though not a major concern for me in the U-District. Overall, the food is great, especially the immaculate chicken sandwich, but I hope the dedicated worker is being compensated appropriately for their extensive duties!
