Overpriced Buffet with a View
I would recommend this place for the view of the ocean from the window, but that's about it. The food is overpriced and the selection was not very extensive. They advertised lobster on the menu, but it wasn't available. The fish tasted like paste. The buffet, which cost $40, was not worth the price in my opinion. You have to go upstairs to access it.

Disappointing Seafood Buffet Experience
My experience at this restaurant was a significant disappointment. Despite being listed as a good seafood buffet, the reality fell far short. The location at Fisherman's Wharf offered a nice 2nd-story view of a small marina and the bay, but the seating was dirty and uncomfortable. The service was virtually non-existent; we had no interaction with any staff from the moment we sat down until we left, except for a brief, distracted payment transaction. This 'least-effort' theme permeated the entire visit, with everything set up to minimum standards, seemingly asking 'what is the least we can supply and still get away with charging $30 per person? '. The drinks were particularly irritating, with no soda machine and a $3 charge for a can of soda. I suggested to the owner that on-tap soda would be a better option, even at a higher price, but this fell on deaf ears. The food quality was above average for a buffet, though the selection was limited. My main goal, crab legs, were Creole-seasoned and excessively salty, making them nearly inedible – a potential cost-saving measure. However, there were some good shrimp dishes. The dessert consisted of cheap, pre-packaged pastries. Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory, especially given the $30 per person price point. We left unsatisfied, and I am certain there are better seafood buffets in San Francisco. This business, with its potential location and view, needs to implement changes immediately and focus on customer wants rather than cutting expenses.

Dismal Buffet and Uncomfortable Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was dismal. The buffet offerings lacked quality, especially the seafood. Every seafood item was heavily over-seasoned, likely to mask that it was frozen and of poor quality. While the decor was cool, the interior was sweltering, stuffy, and uncomfortable. Upon entering, there was also trash and a foul smell. I advise taking your money and going somewhere else, far away from this establishment.

Eclectic Ambiance, Disappointing Seafood Buffet
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The seafood buffet, priced at $35. 99 per person, was a letdown. While the buffet featured really hot cajun crab legs and shellfish, they were too spicy for me, leaving my lips burning after just a few legs. There weren't enough other main dishes to feel satisfied, and the desserts were typical low-sugar items, making me feel like the restaurant was trying to limit my food intake. I ended up filling up on soup and salads, which were good, but the pizza was sad and blah. The atmosphere was a strong point, with a unique interior featuring wrought iron, special couches, and columns wrapped in yellow back-lit glass, creating an eclectic vibe. The restaurant overlooks the bay, and most tables offer an unobstructed view of the water. However, the seating arrangement was a bit unusual, with tables by the window dropped several steps lower than the main floor, and some seating at pub height. Service was rated low, and the restaurant only provides a plastic fork, with no shell crackers, so I recommend bringing your own. Overall, I am not going back.
