Unpleasant Experience with Poor Service
My experience at this restaurant was quite unpleasant. We arrived ten minutes before our reservation, but it still took a few minutes to be seated. The staff seemed to ignore us while we were waiting.
Once seated, our waitress took a long time to take our order, and she didn't seem to be in the best mood. The service was slow throughout; it took a while for water and even longer for bread to arrive. An hour after being seated, our food still hadn't come out.
My husband's wine was served incorrectly, and then the waitress managed to spill red wine all over his expensive jacket, shirt, and pants. This was incredibly embarrassing, especially as we were with old friends visiting for the first time. While the waitress apologized and offered to pay for professional cleaning, the inconvenience was significant.
She later offered to comp my husband's wine, which felt inappropriate given the overall terrible experience and the cost of his jacket. The food eventually arrived, but my Sole Meunière had a visible oil handprint on the plate. I would definitely not return, especially given the high reviews, which makes me question their authenticity or respect for customers.
