My experience was overall adequately good, with nothing terrible. Our coffee drinks were okay, but the pastries were very good. The atmosphere is meh, situated in the lobby of an apartment building.
The layout and design are not hostile but obviously not conducive to lingering. While the coffee place across the street is better overall, Progeny has a high 4. 9 rating, which I feel a 4.

Amazing Latte and Great Service!
I just visited this place for the first time and I absolutely love it so far! The customer service was great. The staff member even made me a blueberry latte with macadamia.
I'm normally nervous with lattes and simple syrup as it usually tastes artificial and way too sweet, but this was the perfect blend. I will definitely be coming back and bringing friends.

Generous Barista and Great Coffee
My experience at this restaurant was wonderful. I went with a friend on a Saturday morning for coffee. The barista was incredibly nice and offered suggestions, even giving me my coffee on the house because it was my first visit.

Perfect Cafe Mocha Experience!
My quest for a good Cafe Mocha ended here. It is a smooth blend of coffee and subtly sweet dark chocolate syrup, just how a Mocha should be! The owner was kind enough to let me taste the dark chocolate syrup before the order.
The small but clean seating zone is perfect to finish a few book chapters or relax with your pet. No pictures as I gobbled up my drink :)
