Overall, if youre looking for fantastic quality without breaking the bank, this spot is definitely worth checking out. Most diners agree youll get excellent value for your money, making it a smart choice for a satisfying meal, even if a couple of experiences found it a tad pricey.

How are the prices at Sushi Taiyo?

You’re looking at roughly 47 per person – reported by 48 diners. That puts it in the $41–$50 category. For a Japanese Restaurant, it’s comfortably mid-range: not a steal, but not bank-breaking either.

Looking at what people actually spend, prices are quite spread out. While the average sits in the mid-range, many guests also enjoy options in the 21 – 40 $ bracket, and there are definitely some premium experiences above 50 $ too.

Here’s a quick look at what guests spend per person, based on the latest 48 reviews.

How this restaurant’s value for money compares to similar spots in Seattle.

Considering the variety of Japanese cuisine, we think 47 per person feels quite fair. It suggests a place that offers both solid mid-range options and perhaps some more special dishes, giving guests flexibility in their spending.

Incredible Nigiri Omakase Value
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I had the nigiri omakase, which was incredible. You won't find better bang for your buck in Seattle. I highly recommend sitting at the counter if possible, as the chefs are hella chill and can share more about the fish. The fish itself was delish and made for quite a dish.

Best Sushi Experience Ever!
My experience at this restaurant was exceptional. The food quality was outstanding, with even the pickled ginger being amazing. I highly recommend the various types of salmon nigiri, with sockeye being my personal favorite. The seabream nigiri was also incredible, apparently reserved for special occasions. The service and atmosphere were both rated a perfect 5, contributing to an overall fantastic dining experience.

Amazing Dining Experience with Exceptional Service
My family and I had a truly amazing dining experience at this restaurant. The food was incredibly delicious and offered excellent value. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the fresh seafood and sea urchin. The manager was exceptionally kind and passionate, paying attention to even the smallest details like sourcing and preparing fresh ginger himself. The service provided by the hospitality team was delightful. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment; it is definitely a must-visit destination.

Delicious Sushi, Great Service, Fair Prices!
My experience at this sushi place was incredibly positive. The food was top quality, with fish that melts in your mouth and fresh ingredients. I appreciated the complimentary miso soup, as most places charge extra. The service was great, and the prices were fair for the quality offered. I'm looking forward to returning many times! They also have a good selection of Japanese alcoholic beverages.

Hidden Gem for Sushi Lovers
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially for sushi lovers. The server was knowledgeable, and it was a rare find to see them making their own tamago, soy sauce, and pickled ginger. This attention to detail is truly appreciated these days.
