How are the prices at Subway?

You’re looking at roughly 22 per person – reported by 8 diners. That puts it in the $21–$30 category. For a Sandwich Shop, it’s comfortably mid-range: not a steal, but not bank-breaking either.

Our data from these 8 guests shows a bit of a spread: most spent between $11–$20, but there were also some higher spends, even up to $41–$50. It’s a small sample, but it gives us a good taste of what to expect!

This chart shows what people usually spend per person, using the 8 most recent reviews. It’s a limited sample, but it gives a good indication of the spending habits here.

See how this restaurant’s value stacks up against similar spots in San Francisco.

We’d say that for a Sandwich Shop, an average of 22 per person is leaning towards the premium side. While some guests spend less, the overall average suggests a higher-end experience. We recommend considering if the quality matches the price, especially in a city like San Francisco where prices can vary widely.

Horrible Food Poisoning Experience
I don't usually leave reviews because I believe everyone deserves a second chance, but I strongly advise you to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. For the past 24 hours, I've been suffering from the WORSE FOOD POISONING OF MY LIFE after trying two of their sandwiches, tuna and steak. I can't eat anything else without throwing up. The establishment looked FILTHY inside and out, but I was so hungry and in a rush that I overlooked it. I wish I had trusted my instincts and never stepped into this Subway. Today, I had to cancel all my plans to stay home and spend the entire day on the toilet. It was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, earning a -100 stars!

Unreliable and Uncaring Service
I've ordered from this location before, and the sandwiches are consistently light on ingredients. However, the online ordering system is convenient for grabbing food on the way to work. This time, my prepaid online order was canceled last minute while I was on my way to pick it up. Upon arrival, they had nothing ready and offered only a shrug, stating they don’t accept the coupon that was applied and paid for in the app. Normally, if a coupon isn't accepted, the order wouldn't be payable or submittable. Because they canceled 10 minutes before pickup, I had no warning and no time to wait for another order. This experience was unreliable, mediocre, and they seemed to couldn’t care less.

Lazy employees closed early
I arrived at 9: 45 PM, expecting the doors to still be unlocked since the restaurant supposedly closes at 10: 00 PM (2200). However, the lazy employees decided to close the doors early. This is completely unacceptable, and I expect a free sandwich from any Subway location after this experience.

Worst Subway Experience Ever
This was probably the worst Subway I’ve been to. Apparently, you can only place online orders here, which I didn't know. I explained to the employee that the system glitched and wouldn't let me checkout, and he said he'd just make one for me. After he finished, he told me I needed to pay through the online order. The sandwich he made was also half empty; he stopped placing the steak halfway through and made a pretty skinny Subway. He also didn’t stock the veggies in the counter, so he skimped out on some ingredients I wanted. Since I had no way of paying, I just walked out on the order. Happy I did though, that sandwich would’ve been the most depressing meal ever. One other thing, they were out of Italian herb and cheese >(.
