Service Great, Food Disappointing
My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. The service was great, with a perfect score of 5. However, the food was inedible, earning a score of 1. I ordered the Carbonara, which had a weird color, texture, and taste. I initially thought they might have used yellow mustard, but was told it was turmeric. I found it unusual to have turmeric in Carbonara.

Disappointing Dinner Experience
I do not recommend this restaurant. We had dinner yesterday with kids, and it was not a high-quality cuisine. There was a lot of cream in the food, and the tomato pasta was not good. The music was too loud, impacting the atmosphere.

Delicious Dinner Despite Rainy Evening
Arriving in San Diego on December 24, 2025, it rained heavily during the day. Despite the cold evening after the rain, we were greeted warmly and welcomed with smiles at 5 PM. We felt confident entering the restaurant due to its high ratings on Google Maps. Every dish was incredibly delicious and made for a satisfying dinner. We ordered the ARUGULA & ENDIVE SALAD with blood orange vinaigrette and fried goat cheese, the FRITTO MISTO with fried calamari, shrimp, artichokes, parsley, spicy marinara, and Calabrian chili aioli, the MEZZE MANICHE AMATRICIANA with half tube-shaped pasta, fresh tomato sauce, guanciale, and pecorino cheese, and the CHEESE WHEEL PASTA! PAPPARDELLE with porcini mushrooms, black truffle cream sauce, and parmigiano cheese. Considering Japanese portion sizes, two pasta dishes were more than enough for three people. The service staff's bright and welcoming demeanor was very pleasing.
