Value (4.6 out of 10)

mentioned by 13% of the guests

It looks like the value here is a bit of a mixed bag, with a 4.6 score putting it squarely in the average range, though customer satisfaction sits at a rather poor 25%. On the bright side, some folks appreciate the mug club for discounts and find the price of beer to be decent. Plus, it's a relief to know there are no unexpected extra charges on the bill, which is always a win!

However, the majority of comments, with 8 negative remarks compared to just 3 positive ones, point to concerns about prices generally being high. Many feel the pricey food, especially the burger price, is a bit much. Paying full price for a cleared plate or finding that $32 for 4 beers definitely left some diners feeling the pinch.

Smoked Wings and Dog-Friendly Vibes
My experience at the restaurant involved trying their 10 wing dings, which cost $16. They had a more smoked taste than I expected, but I would eat them again. The fries were $10, and the garlic fries were $13. The restaurant is also dog friendly.

Saved by the Co-Owner's Service!
What could have been a less-than-pleasant experience turned into a 4/5 star rating thanks to one of the co-owners stepping in to assist us. Upon arriving at 1 pm on a Saturday, the server directed me to order at the bar for outdoor seating, failing to mention that only the brunch menu was available. The hard copy menu I picked up also lacked service hours. It turned out they were exclusively serving brunch, and none of the items we wanted were available, much to the dismay of my starving toddler. I'm incredibly appreciative of the co-owner who followed us outside and offered to check with the chef about alternative food options. The kitchen kindly prepared mac 'n' cheese and salmon tacos for my child, which was a lifesaver and completely changed my perception of the restaurant. I will be returning, specifically when the lunch/dinner menu is served so we can try the other dishes we were interested in. The seating isn't ideal for children not tall enough for bar stools, with only one standard-height table available in the parklet and one inside.
