Delicious Beef Noodles at Papa Noodles
I stopped by Papa Noodles in SoMa with some friends and tried Papa’s Favorite, Braised Beef Noodles, and the Americano Beef Noodles. My experience was fantastic, especially with the Americano Beef Noodles, which were my favorite. The beef had crispy edges but was still super tender, and absolutely delicious. The Braised Beef Noodles were a close second, and I really liked the mix of pickled veggies with the noodles. Papa’s Favorite was good too, but it felt like a more standard Dandan noodle dish. They also have a small candy area with free gum and White Rabbit candy, which is a fun little bonus. Overall, it's a great spot for tasty beef noodle dishes and solid portions.

Incredible Noodles and Service!
My experience at Papa Noodle was incredible! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the service. The menu was refreshingly simple, making ordering a breeze. The food arrived almost immediately, and we enjoyed the Classic Papa Noodles with pork. I particularly loved how thinly sliced everything was, ensuring the perfect portion of ingredients in every bite. The flavors were incredible, and the condiments at the table, especially the vinegar, were very convenient. The candy after the meal was a nice touch. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

Delicious Noodles, Cozy Atmosphere
After learning SFMOMA was closed for the day, the sandwich board for Papa Noodles was a wonderful consultation. They had me at "noodles made fresh daily, " and OH My! Are they delicious. I had the vegan option - Mamas Special. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. Cozy dining area. This made my day.

Cool Noodles, But Not Top Tier
My experience at this restaurant was interesting. The place itself is COOL, and I found the flavors to be optimal. Many of the sauces expose you to various spice types in Asia. However, I would not say that this place ranks in my top 5 Bay Area noodle establishments. If anything, this is a Sweetgreen/Tendergreens/Mixt level alternative to real noodles, especially when compared to places like Shan Dong in Oakland, which makes other noodles taste less fresh. The service, atmosphere, and food received scores of 5, 5, and 4 respectively.
