Overview: Introducting Oriental Seafood

Oriental Seafood offers a compelling trade-off: while the food often receives high praise for its flavor and consistency, the overall dining experience can be a mixed bag. You’ll find a place where the staff can be quite friendly and accommodating, especially for those seeking a meal during late hours.

However, be prepared for an environment that some describe as messy or lacking in polish. The focus here is clearly on the culinary output rather than a polished setting, with some guests noting issues with cleanliness.

Amazing Food, Late Night Gem
I love coming here late at night for a satisfying meal. I often cook brown rice at home and supplement it with dishes from this restaurant for a quick and delicious meal, or sometimes I opt for their fried rice. The chef, who also serves as the cashier, is truly amazing. I've often found him sleeping after midnight, but a gentle wake-up call leads to ordering, payment (cash is preferred to avoid extra charges), and a fantastic meal within 5-10 minutes. Everything the chef makes tastes incredibly good. Be prepared for huge portions; the fried rice alone lasts me two full meals. I hope everyone supports this kind and talented chef to keep this restaurant going.

Delicious Cantonese Food, Needs a Refresh
My experience at this restaurant brought back fond memories of eating here in the early 1990s when my family lived nearby. The food remains delicious and tasty, offering great portions at a decent price. I particularly enjoyed the Beef Chow Mein (pan-fried crispy noodles) for $10. 95 and the FuKien Style Fried Rice for $12. 95, which could easily feed three adults or a family of four. However, the restaurant needs an update or cleaning to make the dining experience more enjoyable. We were eating while writing this review. If you're looking for delicious and tasty Cantonese cooking at affordable prices, this could be your place.

Great Portions, Decent Chinese Food
For the price, the portions are hefty. It was a good takeout spot for something quick and on the cheaper side. While it wasn’t the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, for San Francisco, I couldn’t believe how much food they gave us. They even gave us a Mung bean thing for free with our order. For three people, we had the sesame chicken, salted fish fried rice with chicken, Chinese broccoli and hot n sour soup. Everything was solid and lasted for like 3 days. I did not appreciate sauce spilling all over the bag and they skimped on the chili oil that we asked for. It also was not as tasty or spicy as it usually was. This is very simple but decent Chinese food; don’t expect to be super impressed except by the portions and price. Surprisingly, nothing tasted super greasy. Of course we will be back again because it hits the spot when you’re craving it.

Disappointing Dish Discrepancy
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. The spinach was good, and the pan-fried noodles were also enjoyable. However, I was very disappointed when I ordered a crab dish that I saw in a photo online. The dish that arrived was completely different from what was advertised. The service and atmosphere were rated poorly.
