Excellent Gluten-Free Sandwich Experience
My experience was with a takeout/office catering order, so I cannot comment on the atmosphere. However, the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and the food was great. As someone with celiac disease, I was initially nervous when my office chose a sandwich spot for a catered lunch. Upon calling Mission Picnic, they reassured me they could prepare my sandwich on gluten-free bread and would follow appropriate procedures to prevent cross-contamination. My sandwich arrived in a separate bag, distinct from gluten-containing items, and was clearly marked "gluten free" in multiple places. I felt very safe, and the sandwich itself was delicious!

The Tomato Soup was the best I've ever tried, and it was surprisingly affordable at under $6 for a nice, small portion. I highly recommend this place.
