How are the prices at Miki?

You’re looking at roughly 23 per person – reported by 8 diners. That puts it in the $21–$30 category. For a Ramen Restaurant, it’s comfortably mid-range: not a steal, but not bank-breaking either.

Interestingly, while the average is 23, many guests actually spend a bit less, with the $11–$20 range being the most common. This suggests a nice mix of options! Since we only have 8 reviews, this gives us a good indication, but more data would paint an even clearer picture.

Here’s a quick look at what guests spend per person, based on the latest 8 reviews. While this data is limited, it gives us a good idea of the typical spend.

See how this restaurant’s value stacks up against similar spots in San Francisco.

Overall, we think the pricing feels quite fair for a Ramen Restaurant in San Francisco. It offers a good mid-range option without breaking the bank, especially considering the city.

Convenient Local Japanese with Hits and Misses
I've dined inside a couple of times a few years ago. Recently, living nearby, I've found ordering online for pickup to be very convenient, with options for ASAP pickup usually taking 20-35 minutes. My favorite dishes have been the cold soba (4. 5/5), which I thoroughly enjoyed and wished there was more of, and the chicken katsu. The hot soba (4/5) was decent but not as good as the cold version. The tempura was good. The chicken katsu curry (4/5) was still good the next day, though the chicken could be crispier for a perfect score. I'd pass on the chicken broth ramen (3/5) as it was greasy/oily and seemed better in the past. The salmon sashimi (3/5) didn't taste as fresh. This is a good spot if I'm craving Japanese food and don't want to travel far, making it great for locals. However, I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Improving their exterior signage could attract more business, as it's not immediately clear that the building is "Miki Restaurant".

Solid Japanese Spot with Fresh Fish
My experience at Miki Japanese on Balboa was a good one. The staff was friendly and the service was efficient, complemented by a casual ambiance. I particularly enjoyed the chirashi bowl, which featured fresh fish atop seasoned rice, perfectly portioned and balanced. The salmon teriyaki and mixed tempura bento was also a strong choice; the salmon was cooked well with a flavorful glaze, and the tempura was crisp without being oily. The bento sides were a nice addition to the meal. Overall, it's a good spot for Japanese food in the neighborhood.
