Decent Burger, Service Lacked
I stopped by Marlowe for lunch and found the interior to be very nice, comfortable, and clean, despite being fairly small. We arrived a bit before the lunch crowd, so it was quiet initially. The service started off quick but unfortunately disappeared as the meal progressed. The lunch menu is quite limited, leading us both to order the Marlowe burger with fries. My partner requested her horseradish aioli on the side, but the waiter mistakenly put it on mine. We discovered the order was reversed when our food arrived, which was a bit of a chagrin. We switched orders ourselves rather than calling the waiter back. We had asked for our burgers to be cooked medium, but they arrived closer to medium-rare. However, the burger itself was pretty good, especially with the bacon. The fries were nicely cooked and tasty. After the food was delivered, the service vanished; there was no check-in on our satisfaction or drink refills. The prices were as expected for the city. Overall, it was a decent experience.

New American food disappointment
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. I was expecting a good meal, but the burger was overpowering with horseradish, and the steak tartare took an excessive 40 minutes to arrive, proving to be super bland. It's surprising how they managed to mess up New American cuisine this badly.

Bartenders Unwelcoming at the Bar
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. While the food and atmosphere were excellent, receiving a 5/5 for both, the service at the bar was a significant issue. The bartenders made it very clear they did not want patrons sitting at the bar, using unwelcoming facial expressions and body language. This happened to me twice on different occasions with different bartenders. If serving bar guests is a hassle, it should perhaps not be offered. The service received a 1/5.

Great Food, Arrogant Staff
I visited this restaurant twice, once after spending Mother's Day here. The quality of the place and the knowledgeable staff were evident. However, I sensed a bit of arrogance during both visits, possibly due to the all-male waitstaff (except the hostess). Interestingly, this arrogance seemed to add to the authenticity of the ambience. The food was unquestionably great! 😊
