Out of 62 total opinions, 11 highlighted that the prices were quite reasonable, offering good value for the experience, with some even finding the food decently priced and worth it. This suggests that for some, the initial cost felt fair. However, the overwhelming sentiment, with 44 negative opinions, points to significant concerns about the overall price.

Top Notch Service and Delicious Diner Food
This place is the ticket in SF. As a non-local, I felt right at home here. The service was top notch. From the moment we sat down, we experienced incredibly fast service, with drinks or refills arriving within 1-2 minutes and food served quickly. The veggie omelette was outstanding, a perfect 10/10. I appreciate diner food done right, especially when they know how to make good hash browns. The bacon was also good, which is always a sign of a quality restaurant.

Great Food & Service, But Surcharge Issue
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, with both the food and service being great. However, I decided to deduct the 5% “Employee Health Care” surcharge. While I fully support fair wages and proper health coverage for staff, I believe this cost should be borne by the employer, not by customers. The San Francisco Health Care Ordinance was designed to ensure that businesses provide health benefits — not to shift that responsibility onto guests through extra fees. I’m always happy to tip generously for good service, but I do not agree with paying an extra “health care” fee that effectively substitutes for an employer obligation. Transparency is good, but accountability should stay where it belongs.

Great Diner Food and Fun Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was worth waiting for, as the line moved quickly. The service was quick and thorough, and the food was perfect. I almost always had to take a box for leftovers. They offer a variety of drinks, including beer, wine, milkshakes, and serve great diner food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day. The atmosphere is really fun, filled with 50's memorabilia that's enjoyable to look at.

Exceptional Service and Delicious Food!
I just wrapped up lunch at this place and had a fantastic experience. The New York Steak was soft, juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to the proper temperature. The mashed potatoes and gravy were on point! But the real treat was Beatriz! She provided the friendliest, most kind service I've ever received. God bless this woman! 🤗🙏

Disappointing Food and Dangerous Restroom
The restaurant was mega toll eingerichtet (wonderfully decorated). However, the food was fad y d fettig (bland and greasy). In the restroom, I almost fell because a toilet was broken but not marked. It splashed in all directions and the floor was underwater. If I hadn't been so athletic, I would have fallen. My morning was ruined - adrenaline at 100, shortness of breath, and an extremely unfriendly manager! My day was spoilt! My knee hurt the rest of the day…
