Service (5.9 out of 10)

When it comes to service, this spot offers a bit of a mixed bag, with customer satisfaction sitting at a mixed 50%. Based on 8 customer remarks, with 4 positive and 4 negative, many appreciate the friendly staff and great service . However, the overall service score of 5.9 (which is considered average) reflects some frustrations. Customers often encounter opening hours that dont match the signs and limited daily hours . How are the prices at Jimmy's at Verge?

On average, you’ll spend around 25 per person – from 2 guests. That puts the restaurant in the $21–$30 category. For a Cafe, that’s mid-range, maybe slightly above.

Looking at the individual prices, we see one guest spent in the 11-20$ range and another in the 21-30$ range, showing a bit of a spread rather than a tight cluster. Since we only have data from 2 customers, it’s a good indication, but keep in mind the data is limited.

Here’s a quick look at what guests spend per person, based on the latest 2 reviews. This data is limited but gives a good indication of spending habits.

A comparison of value for money at this restaurant versus similar spots in San Diego.

Overall, we think the pricing feels fair for a mid-range Cafe experience. Its a good spot if youre looking for quality without breaking the bank.

Good food, frustrating deli app experience
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was good and the prices were low, which is always a plus. However, my overall rating was brought down to 4 stars due to a significant issue with the deli. If you order ahead on the app, the deli staff apparently won't start preparing your order until you've waited in line and it's your turn. This completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead, and it's something that has happened every time I've tried to use the app for the deli. On the other hand, if you order ahead from the grill, your order is ready when you arrive, which is a much better experience.

Great Happy Hour and Service!
My experience at this restaurant was great, especially during their happy hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 7 PM. While the appetizer menu was limited, I was informed it will be expanding soon. They now offer local bottled beer and plan to add beers on tap and possibly live music. The nachos were awesome and reasonably priced. We were also treated to a free dessert, and the service was great!

Hidden Gem for Breakfast & Lunch
Hidden in the back, behind the Arris and Google buildings, is a nice little place for breakfast and lunch, complete with a Barista station. The prices are reasonable, and there's a different lunch special every day. The salad bar varies but usually has some fresh grilled veggies, which are my favorite. The sandwich bar offers a couple of daily specials, sometimes pre-made, or you can order just about anything. They also serve beer and wine, which is a nice addition.

Inconsistent Hours and Limited Vegetarian Options
My experience at this restaurant was marked by a couple of significant issues. Firstly, the restaurant is never open until 1: 30 as indicated by the signs, which is quite inconvenient. Secondly, the vegetarian options are very limited, which was a disappointment for my dining companion. The provided metadata indicates low scores for Service (1) and Atmosphere (1), and a slightly better score for Food (2).

Good food, but pricey and fewer options
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. The food was good, but it was a bit expensive. I was disappointed that they've removed their daily special meal and stopped making pizza.
