Breakfast Burrito Disappointment, Great Matcha
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. I found the breakfast burrito to be quite disappointing, especially considering the price. For $12+, I expected a much better quality. The tortilla was cold, and the shredded cheese was unmelted, which is wild for that price point. However, the matcha was great, and I enjoyed it. The service was excellent, with a score of 5, and the atmosphere was decent with a score of 3. The wait time was non-existent, which was a plus.

Disappointing Decline in Quality
I've been a loyal customer of this place for 6-7 years and usually love it. However, the experience has been consistently poor over the last year. The lattes are of low quality, there are big lines, and it's pricey. At times, the customer service has also been lacking. While I understand charging a premium price, the coffee quality should match. I would gladly wait longer if the establishment returned to its former high quality. I'd be willing to update this review to a 5-star rating if the place consistently gets back to its roots.

Great Coffee, Fresh Pastries, Annoying Table Situation
My experience at Java Earth was a mixed bag. The coffee was great, and the pastries were fresh. Even though the display case sometimes looked low on supply, it was regularly replenished due to high demand. However, it's becoming increasingly annoying to find a table. Many singles occupy 90% of the tables for extended periods, often for just one drink, which makes it difficult for others to get a seat. I often visit Java Earth when in PB, but this table situation is a significant drawback.

Favorite Spot with Amazing Service
Java Earth has become my favorite spot in PB. The drinks are always good, especially the strawberry matcha. What truly makes it special is the service. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and consistently in a great mood. They genuinely take the time to connect with customers and make you feel at home, which is a rare and appreciated quality. It's the kind of place where you leave feeling better than when you arrived. I couldn't recommend it more!

Great Food, Poor Service
A friend recommended this coffee shop, and while the area was great and the atmosphere even better, the service was lacking. Upon approaching the counter, I wasn't greeted. The register worker was engaged in a conversation with another barista who was making drinks. When I asked how she was doing, she responded positively and then turned back to her iPad. After I placed my order, she turned the iPad around and walked away without a "thank you" or "have a nice day. " It felt like there was no customer service. Despite this, the strawberry matcha was amazing, and I would definitely recommend it. Their sunrise bagel also hit the spot.
