Mixed Feelings: Good Beef, Bad Bathroom Smell
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The rare beef carpaccio was good, though perhaps a bit too rare for my liking, and I was disappointed by the absence of puff crackers. I also tried the eggroll, clay pot chicken, and rice, which were satisfactory. However, the overall dining experience was significantly marred by a lack of an exhaust vent in the bathroom, leading to a poop smell that permeated the entire restaurant. The tea was watery, which was also a letdown. On the positive side, the service and atmosphere were rated highly (5/5), but the food quality only received a 2/5.

Mixed Feelings at Jasmine Garden
We were hoping to find authentic Vietnamese dishes in San Francisco and stumbled upon Jasmine Garden. We stopped in mainly for the Vietnamese-style eggrolls (Imperial Rolls), but unfortunately, they were a letdown. The Beef Carpaccio (Bò Tái Chanh) was very fresh with onions, cilantro, peanuts, and shallots adding a nice crunch, though the beef was a bit too rare for our taste and too big for a bite size. The biggest disappointment was the Chicken Clay Pot—it was overly sweet, lacking depth of flavor, and the chicken was tough. On the bright side, the jasmine rice was cooked perfectly.

Delicious Pho and Friendly Service!
My experience at this restaurant was wonderful! I ordered the Chicken Pho and the Five Spice Chicken Pho, and both dishes were incredibly good and comforting. The portions were also big, offering great value. I loved how friendly the staff was, and the restaurant itself is very clean and spacious. I can’t wait to come back to this neighborhood gem!
