Ambience (1.6 out of 10)

mentioned by 15% of the guests

While the overall vibe might be a tough sell, a couple of folks did find some bright spots! Out of 61 comments, 2 positive remarks specifically praised the Ventura location and its atmosphere, with one even calling it the best 1 in California. It seems theres a glimmer of hope for a good experience, even if its rare.

However, the vast majority of feedback, with 58 negative comments, paints a rather grim picture. The ambience score sits at a very poor 1.6, and customer satisfaction is equally poor at 3.3%. Many mentioned a filthy building, dirty tables, and unsanitary bathrooms, with some even noting a harsh scent and trash on the floor.

Clearly, there's significant room for improvement in cleanliness and overall environment.

Value (1.9 out of 10)

mentioned by 20% of the guests

It seems theres a faint whisper of `deals` that could potentially offer some savings, with one customer noting some good offers, even if they come with app-related concerns. However, with a mere 1 positive comment among 45, this isnt enough to lift the overall perception of value, which currently sits at a 1.9 score. Unfortunately, the overwhelming feedback points to significant issues with `price` and `value-for-price balance`.

Many customers feel `overcharged` or even `double charged`, leading to a strong sense of being `ripping people off` and that it's a `waste of money`. This is reflected in a very low customer satisfaction of just 2.2%.

Horrible Manager, Delicious Food
I dined in today and received really really horrible customer service from one of the managers at Jack in The Box, location 1636 Euclid Ave, San Diego, CA 92105. The manager, an African American older lady, was rude and had a bad attitude. She kicked me off the premises for no reason, other than me having my belongings with me, including a shopping cart and recyclables, as I am currently homeless and recycling. After I finished my very delicious meal, I went to throw away my trash. The manager approached me with a mean/frustrated look, without any warning. I was already gathering my things to leave. She provided the worse customer service I have ever seen, despite me being a paying customer who just ordered a full meal. I will be contacting corporate about this location and want legal action taken against this location at 1636 Euclid Ave, San Diego, CA 92105.

Disappointing Cold Tacos and Closure
My experience at Jack in the Box was quite disappointing. I waited 30 minutes for cold monster tacos at the location by Blanco and 410 in San Antonio. To make matters worse, the tacos were broken into pieces, and it wasn't even busy. Earlier, I tried to visit the San Pedro location at 9: 45 PM, but they were closed. It's understandable why Jack in the Box might not be doing well; nobody wants to pay for garbage food and bad service.

Dissatisfied with Service, Cleanliness
I have been going to the Irving location in Tx for years, but my last two experiences have not been good. I’m very dissatisfied with the customer service of the staff. The representative at the front register charged me for two jumbo jacks burgers when I wanted two breakfast jacks and two tacos. She didn’t understand that I wanted breakfast jacks, and I had to show her a picture. Upon checking the receipt, I saw she had charged me for the jumbo jacks. When I told her my order was wrong, she said she would refund the money to my card and charge me again for the correct order, but she didn’t know how to do that procedure. She asked the manager, who told her to just give me the difference in cash, but she didn’t do that either. This is the Irving, Tx location on Irving Blvd. The restaurant was not clean either.
