My experience at the restaurant was a mix of disappointment and pleasant surprise. I had asked for pork chai sui but received beef instead. Additionally, a friend's pan-fried geen jur mein was not crispy and described as mushy.
He also requested a little curry, but it ended up tasting like tomato beef chow mein, unlike the crispy and perfect version he's had at Empero. This was quite disappointing. However, the lady was very nice and friendly, and she offered us a complimentary dish of salt and pepper.
This gesture helped to make up for the misorder and the less-than-crispy geen jer mein. It's also a shame they no longer sell their ice cream, which was a bargain at 50 cents.
