Scallops lacked flavor, host was rude
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. I tried the giant scallops shumai, which I rated a 3/5. Unfortunately, it was nothing special and I felt it lacked flavor. Adding to the negative experience, the host was pretty rude. Due to these issues, I'm not sure if I would come here again.

Friendly Staff, Overwhelming Options
My experience at this Chinese restaurant was a bit of a mixed bag. While I acknowledge that my ideal Chinese place might lean more 'American' and I may not fully understand the nuances of different Chinese restaurant types, the food itself was fine, though not quite what I had envisioned. The staff were incredibly friendly and I couldn't have asked for better service. However, the sheer number of options on the menu was overwhelming, leaving me feeling a little unsatisfied. This wasn't a fault of the restaurant, but rather a personal experience with the extensive menu.

Disappointing Delivery Experience
I ordered delivery instead of using my reservation because I wasn't feeling well. It seems delivery might not be their strong suit. The food was okay, but not special at all, and we were expecting much better after reading the reviews. The squab was quite good. I will not return.

Average Yum Cha with a Suspicious Smell
My experience at this restaurant was mediocre. The food was only moderate, and the portion size was so-so. The tea was served using a tea bag. The only dish that stood out positively was the shumai, which was good in terms of ingredients and size. Upon being seated, there was a noticeable smell that resembled urine, though I couldn't determine if it originated from inside or outside the restaurant. Overall, it's just an average yum cha place. Considering the suspicious smell and the taste of the food, it's not worth visiting, especially for the dining experience itself.

Favorite Dim Sum in the Bay!
Aside from the prompt service and the variety of teas, I appreciated the perfectly sized menu, which is a relief from the overwhelming menus at most dim sum places. The decor and vibes of the place are unique and different. My favorite dishes were definitely the crispy pork belly (you HAVE to try it), green beans, chicken wings, soya tofu, and specialty har gow. The XLB weren't the best I've had, but I enjoyed the creativity. Street parking is difficult as always in Richmond, but on a Sunday at 2 pm, there was no wait and the service was better than expected for a dim sum establishment. The bill came out to be around $120 for 3 people, which is really worth it for the quality of the food. This is probably my favorite dim sum in the Bay! I'll definitely be coming back for more.
