Tasty Food, But Pricey and Inaccurate Menu
I got carry out and based on the friendliness of the staff who took my order and the promptness of the food preparation, I gave them four stars. The food itself was tasty, although pricey. I encountered an issue with the menu prices not being accurate; the waitress verbally informed me that everything was a percentage higher. This made it difficult to calculate the final cost for each item on the spot. Please take into account that the prices are somewhat higher than several Chinese restaurants. For example, the Cumin lamb, my usual favorite, was $23, which is typically closer to or less than $20 elsewhere. I did not try their hot pot, which is their specialty, so that's something to consider as well.

Mixed Feelings on Sichuan Hot Pot
We traveled 45 minutes to try this restaurant, and while the reservation system suggested it was extremely popular, we found it wasn't. Despite reminders about a 10-minute table hold, the restaurant was mostly empty upon our arrival. The decor aimed for a Mongolian hot pot feel, but it's genuinely a Sichuan hot pot establishment, with all staff hailing from Sichuan and the flavors reflecting that style. However, the spicy soup base lacked significant heat. They do offer grilled lamb leg and ribs, with the ribs being quite good. For the hot pot itself, the choices were limited, especially for seafood, and there were only two lamb options. The portion sizes for the price were also meager. A standout item was the lamb spine (lamb scorpion), which was fresher than other Bay Area options. My suggestion: come for the lamb spine or lamb ribs, but for hot pot, there are better choices elsewhere. Service was adequate, though they failed to inform us of a 10% price increase until payment, which is legally questionable. The overall price is high for what you receive, and the lack of hot pot ingredient choices is a significant drawback.

Amazing Fried Pork, Good Hotpot
My experience at this restaurant was quite positive, particularly regarding the food. While the hotpot was decent, the lamb was noted as being the best here. However, the absolute standout was the Fried Pork in Scoop (锅包肉). We found it to be the best we've ever had – truly amazing in taste, presentation, and smell, with an incredible texture. It's a must-try dish!

Delicious Mongolian Lamb & BBQ Ribs!
My experience at this restaurant was incredibly tasty and satisfying. I highly recommend the inner Mongolian lamb pot and the bbq lamb ribs. The auntie serving us was really kind and sweet, and despite being busy, she was very attentive and helpful with recommendations. She was super nice and recommended every dish, all of which were extremely delicious. I especially loved the clear lamb soup base and the grilled lamb ribs were also great. The auntie, though busy, was still very friendly. Thank you for your hard work! 🥺

Authentic Sichuan Flavors & Wonderful Experience
My experience at this restaurant was truly wonderful! The authentic Sichuan flavors were delicious, and they offered a great selection of hot condiments. The excellent service made me feel like I was eating at my aunt's place, served with love and care. It's an unassuming place that provided a really wonderful experience. Although we didn't try the hot pot this time and opted for stir-fry noodles, we will definitely be back for the hot pot. This restaurant has now been added to our list of regular places. It's a great find, and the reviews truly don't lie. The amazing food and excellent service made for a great visit. Thank you, auntie and DNM. See you next time!
