Life-Changing Experience at Delancey Street
My experience at this place has been truly life-changing. It is a wonderful place. I am incredibly grateful to Mimi Silbert for her wonderful work in helping people like myself come out, support Delancey Street and the restaurant, and ultimately change lives. This place helped change mine. After spending over 23 years in prison, I was finally able to get my life right with the help of Delancey Street. I have been clean and sober for 5 and a half years and am doing really well, thanks to this place.

Spectacular Food and Service!
My experience at this restaurant was spectacular. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. I particularly appreciated the generous spacing between tables, which contributed to a comfortable atmosphere. I visited for a celebration with a group of seven, and Terry and the staff ensured it was a lovely experience for everyone. I would gladly return for the food or just to grab a refreshing drink. The house-made ginger beer and fresh-squeezed orange juice were great. I definitely plan to be back!

Delicious Food, Dog-Friendly Gem!
I'm so happy to have discovered this place since moving to the area. The restaurant boasts a beautiful dining room and a large patio, and it's wonderfully dog-friendly, welcoming them both inside and out. The service was exceptional; they even brought our dogs some ribs free of charge! The food was also super tasty, and the prices are very inexpensive. I enjoyed the meatloaf, which was delicious. I highly, highly recommend this place!

Disappointing Service and Food Quality
What happened to this place? It used to be great for both service & food, but this time, the experience was far from satisfactory. We endured an excessively long wait just to get a glass of tap water, and at times, it felt like we were forgotten. The situation was compounded by having three different servers, each taking an unreasonable amount of time to bring our drinks, food, dessert, and coffee. The supposedly homemade pecan pie was particularly awful, and waiting 30 minutes for drip coffee was ridiculous. This occurred even though the restaurant was not full, leaving us wondering about the cause. I hope this was an isolated incident due to bad timing, a mis-baked pie, or insufficient staffing, and not a reflection of the usual standard. I will consider trying them again soon, hoping for a better experience.
